Very beginner friendly and basic gimbal. Very compact and easy to pack around everywhere you go. I used it to shoot 4x4 vehicles going off-road and while it wasn't the most ideal Hohem product to use at the time, it impressively did the job well enough to get decent videos

This gimble is easy to set up. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Pairs easily with phone. There’s an app you can download that includes some preset automatic operations. This gimble also functions as a tripod although it’s not very steady with the weight of my phone. The tripod legs don’t lock or anything so you just have to balance it just right. The box says it includes a charging cable but there wasn’t one with mine. Takes a usb-c which I already had so that’s ok I guess. It also has a small removal remote that’s handy to have and operate the camera/gimble. It has tracking and rotation options but haven’t used those functions yet. The steadiness of the gimble is just ok, nothing fantastic but decent for the price point. Think I would opt for the 3 axis gimble next time.

This is my first gimbal. I researched gimbals and this was a pretty decent one that had both pitch and roll axis. I could have gone with a three axis one, but from what I understood, for the purpose of my photography, which is basic tourist related photos and video, I didn’t need it. Plus, it would have been more expensive, and I’m an amateur photographer and didn’t want to invest in an expensive piece of equipment. I used this during a trip to Japan and worked decently. It was nice to reduce walking and shaking while holding my camera. It does have its own app to use to take photos, but it easily worked using my native phone camera just as fine. Because it works by balancing your phone, any additional attachments will make it very hard to balance. I purchased some really nice lenses to use while also using the gimbal and they ended up weighing it down where gimbal didn’t work properly: it kept trying to recalibrate to compensate for the weight. So in the end, I didn’t get the nice photos I wanted (my phone isn’t the greatest camera, but decent enough), but with the gimbal, I was able to take clear photos and at better angles with the telescopic selfie stick (I’m short). Another thing is that the battery drains very quickly. Luckily I had a power bank with me, but it was annoying that only after a couple hours, I had to charge it. It would be nice if there was a power save mode, because when I had an impromptu photo/video moment, I would have to turn on the gimbal, turn on the shutter button, calibrate it, and then select either landscape or portrait mode. Something else that would have been nice is the ability to keep the phone on the gimbal while folded away. That would have sped up the photo taking process. Oh well. It was a first gimbal and it worked fine. I’ll be using it again in the future, but more for stationary things or parties and weddings, etc. The attached video is just me testing it out, which I was impressed with how it smooth it was, while I was a trying to manually track myself.

This is one of the best selfie sticks I've ever had since the creation of selfie sticks. This selfie stick has allowed me to make so much content even at an affordable price. Ive bought like 3 of them.

I bought this based upon reviews. Unfortunately, the performance didn't live up to its reviews. To begin with, the "manual", if you can call it that, requires a telescope in order to read its tiny print. Manufacturers need to stop printing these manuals with print so tiny, which renders them useless. It's dumb! Secindly, the app wasn't much help & the gimbal itself, coukdn't properly balance my S23 Ultra, nor, my S24 Ultra. Personallt, I was terribly disappointed & I like the features that were the selling point for this gimbal. Unfortunately, in practice, it just didn't work. That's unfortunate because although I need a gimbal stabilizer for my Samsung Ultras & my D750 & Z6II, it appears as though I'm going to have to search elsewhere, as this iSteady Q, makes me a little skeptical about the Hohem stabilization system. I don't think that I'm willing to drop a couple of hundred on something whose gimbal nor app delivered as promised. I can't recommend this product. 1 Star for a great idea, -4 for actual functionaliry

It's taking me some time to understand it. I have a pet boarding facility and wanted video of the dogs. The lock doesn't work well at all, OR it's working like it's supposed to. "Lock" to me means LOCK. It barely holds it in place. And worst of all, my phone won't clear it (Android S23 Ultra) when it stabilizes... hits the bar. I don't know, I'm very frustrated with it.

The item is just as described. It is a good size to where it is easy to pack and even comes with its own little travel bag. It could fit in a purse which is nice! The stand does everything described above and is pretty easy to figure out. It does come with a instruction manual that is simple to operate as well. I have now had it for about 2 months and I have never had to charge it so Idk that you even need too. Haha Overall happy with my purchase!

The rechargeable battery is a little less capacity not long enough

Wasn’t happy with it , price is cheap but does not do much . Invest a bit more and go for a DJI

The physical features was good but the battery itself is not it easily lowbat and sometimes when you do filming there is a time become blackout (few minutes or sec.) then return again to the objects. When you use the Tripod part of the stand is not durable it is easy to broke.
