Helix Angle and Circle Maker with Integrated Circle Templates, 360 Degree, 6 Inch / 15cm, Assorted Colors (36002)

This is my second one of these. I love compasses and this is my favorite. It's fairly sturdy but once it loses its spacer it never holds together just right. So I will probably get a third one but I'm very rough on my stationary supplies throwing it in my bag and whatnot. Great for the price.

This is better for drawing circles than a compass, At least smaller circles. It's great if you like to draw mandalas!

The Helix Angle and Circle Maker is a simple but clever tool to use to draw circles. For years, I've relied on tracing various objects or subjecting my journals to the pointed end of a protractor in order to achieve the perfect circle. This handy little circle maker consists of a ring with a movable center plastic piece. To use, you simply place your pencil or pen in one of the little holes in the plastic piece then draw where the plastic piece guides you. You can also use the precut circles to trace smaller circles. The center guide moves fairly smoothly, but does require a firm hand so that the circles come out neatly. I would not recommend using this device with very thin tipped pens. I used a Micron 03 pen with this circle maker, but I wouldn't go any thinner than that. While this circle maker did work with my Leuchttum 1917 Bullet Journal, I will warn you that it does take a steady hand to use since there is a book gutter to deal with. While these journals do lay quite flat, I did have some issues with getting it to lay flat enough so that the inner circle would work smoothly. On completely flat surfaces, the circle maker had no issues. Overall, this is a useful tool if you're looking to add circles to some of your artwork.

This is incredible and exactly what I needed for drawing nice circles. Yes, the smaller diameter circles are a little tough to spin, but if you're careful it works, and it's just such a handy little tool. I honestly can't believe how cheap it is for how useful it is.

Sucks, the 1st one i got broke right away. This is the replacement and its stiff and hard go rotate so you can't make good circles
