Amazingly awesome and beautiful instrument!
Not a bot and not a paid review. I actually stumbled on a harmonica video while surfing youtube and this one was recommended as a cheap one to learn on I've owned several and play a little.. i suck but tryjng....but holy smoke this little guy sounds fantastic...drawing a deep bend on the 2 hole is very easy and sounds blues to cry to. Highly highly recommend. Fanstaic and very beautifully constructed instrument. D.

This EastTop Blues Harmonica is pure joy in a pocket-sized package
The sound is rich and clear, even for beginners like me. It’s well-built, easy to play, and comes in a sturdy case for protection. I picked it up to learn blues riffs and was blown away by the tone. Perfect for any skill level—definitely a great buy for the price. Highly recommend for new and seasoned players alike!

Decent
I bought this harmonica for two reasons: (1) I had seen some YouTube reviews, hyping this up as one of the first decent harmonicas to come out of China. (2) I needed a new case for my Lee Oskar. I saw that this was $25, and new cases like this one's are $10-12, so I figured that I'd take a chance on this for the case. Mission accomplished, because these cases are nice and fit a Lee Oskar harmonica just fine! However, it turns out that the East top harmonica itself was a nice little surprise. Reeds are all in great shape out of the box, easy to bend. The projection is not as loud as my Lee Oskar, but overall this harp has great dynamic range. It's good couple of ounces heavier than a Lee Oskar or Special 20, and just "feels" like a really substantial, quality instrument. There are two downsides. The first is that they go with a "tin sandwich" construction style (probably to save costs), where the reed plates stick out over the comb. On a Lee Oskar and most Hohner's, the reed plates sink into a recessed groove in the comb itself, so that nothing sticks out past the comb. This East top style is slightly less comfortable to play, but I'm not exactly enough of a virtuoso for it to be a big deal. The second downside is that while this price is cheaper than a Special 20 or Lee Oskar, it's rapidly climbing. All of those YouTube reviews, hyping this up as an amazing Chinese harp? They were mostly recorded two or there years ago, when these things cost $15. This WOULD be a steal at that price. However, as of today the price is around $26, and that's only a notch below the leading German and Japanese instruments. I hate to be a snob, but I just think it's a little premature to start charging German or Japanese money for a Chinese instrument. All in all, it would take a bigger "made in China" discount to tempt me away from the Japanese harmonicas that I'm used to playing. However, this is a respectable enough option for beginners looking to save a few bucks. And I could see myself buying some more of these in the future, for key tunings that I play less frequently.

Ordered this to replace a harmonica (from the same company) that had a problem with one of the reeds. I realize this can sometimes happen. There was no problem with the return or refund. Stayed with East top because they have a great reputation for quality and value and I have no regrets with the decision. The harp looks good and sounds even better! Ideal harmonica for the beginner and intermediate player.
