WAAAAAAY better quality than I expected. However, the leather, as good as it is, arrives extremely dry. You'll need to heavily oil it over several days to bring it back to life. Can't really hold the manufacturer responsible for the climate. Once well oiled and rubbed a bit, it's an extremely nice leash. ...and while I didn't purchase it necessarily to be pretentious, it has received notice and comments. Be warned, once you oil it, the leather will darken considerably. ...for me, I care about that as much as my dog did.

Fantastic leather leash. Thick... But less than an inch wide... That's why I said 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall well worth the $. I'm very happy and it handles my 45lbs puppy without any indication of stress

Very well made, its a little stiff, trying to work that out. I love the length and my Boxer does too!

This leash is made of great quality leather and is exactly as pictured. The handle is soft and the look of it is perfect.

My rottweiler and I got spooked by a LOUD car horn. He ran forward and pulled while on a choke chain. The 6ft leash broke! I don't know why, the leash is not chewed and looks solid, but it broke. He came when recalled due to obedience training, but it could have ended up tragically. Now I will load test all leashes upon receipt, but this it un-acceptable and no other leash ever broke on me, even $.99 ones!!!!

Nice quality, unfortunately the colors were not as advertised. Leather is much lighter and the “coral” is orange. I really wanted to love it and was so excited for it to match my dogs new collar and tag.

Love the quality of this. It's thick sturdy and cute. No complaints regarding quality of material!

The inside of the hand grip is soft. I was looking for a softer leash part. Its ok.
