Some great building blocks of knowledge to help eat well
I enjoyed this book/cookbook. Now, it's time to start cooking up these great recipes. The author did a great job of explaining the positives to eating healthier, without too much science behind it. I know some might not like that, but for most of us, small improvements and better techniques would be just great. I would suggest this book to anyone wanting to eat better and cleaner.

Eat Like a Genius!
Genius Kitchen takes the best of Max’s knowledge and puts it into actionable steps with the abundance of simple, but delicious nutrient dense recipes. If you’ve read Genius Foods and Genius Life, you’ll love Genius Kitchen. If not, this is a great place to get acquainted with Max’s work! What I love most about the content of this book is that Max provides the “why” behind each intentionally chosen ingredient and the way each recipe is constructed. It’s the perfect combination of nutrition science and fun, approachable recipes with a touch of Max’s personal connections to the material. I’ve especially enjoyed the roasted broccoli with shallot and bonito, bangin’ chicken liver, and blueberry lemon tart, and can’t wait to cook my way through the rest of the recipes. Will absolutely be recommending this book to my nutrition clients and purchasing as gifts for friends and family!

I've had this book for several years. It has a lot of great recipes and helpful information. It is a go to in our kitchen.

Cook and Eat Your Way Through Genius Kitchen!
As a big fan of Max Lugavere and his books Genius Foods and The Genius Life, I was not disappointed by his cookbook Genius Kitchen. Even if you have not read his books you will enjoy eating your way through Genius Kitchen. The recipes are healthy, but also packed with flavor. They are approachable and easy to execute and I've added many of them to my weeknight meal planning. The best was when I shared some of the bites with my gluten and dairy loving friends and they devoured them. When you buy the book you must try the Bake Almond "Breaded" Artichoke Hearts! You won't miss the bread or the dairy! I love Max's story and food/life philosophy which he shares in the first part of the cookbook. The pictures are beautiful and the amount of recipes are abundant! I plan to "gift" this book to all of my foodie friends.

I’ve been following Max for a while now and am so stoked to get my hands on this cook book . It tells you what to shop for and why and is written so simplistically . The recipes have few ingredients and are easy to put together . Absolutely delicious stiff and indeed so so good for you !!

For a “not new book” it is in fabulous condition. It contains very healthy recipes, no UPFs here. If you are looking at this - I know you’ll understand. Some recipes do contain “sweeteners” which I avoid as they interfere with the gut microbiome- I leave those out or add natural sweeteners like dates, honey or maple syrup Overall, I’m very pleased so far, made broccoli with mustard and miso yesterday and today doing a spinach and artichoke dip, no diary.

What a beautiful addition to any kitchen. This book provides very nicely placed knowledge to understand every ingredient in the kitchen and gives you an insight on how these ingredients combined can result into a beautiful and tasty meal that will .ake you feel good. I'll be cooking guided by this book from now on as much as possible!

I’ve been following Max Lugavere for a few years now and I can assure you that he never does things in half-measures. He pours his heart and soul in everything he does and this brainchild is no different. Jam-packed with information, gorgeous photographs and appetizing recipes, Max feeds your brain in the first half and fills your belly with the second. Mostly gluten-free recipes with minimal usage of dairies to sate your hunger. This is ideal for any health-conscious omnivorous or vegan/plant-based eater like me who is not afraid to step out of their comfort zone. I highly recommend!
