## Description

The Makita Premier Torsion Bits are a new range of screw bits and sockets, superseding the Makita Impact Gold range of torsion bits, specially designed for use with Impact Drivers. The Premier Torsion range has been specifically designed for high torque demands required by professional users in all industries. Impact Premier screw bits and sockets are constructed from a new material; engineered from special steel with heat treatment, improved hardness (HRC) and the torque value (Nm) to ensure maximum strength and flexibility for a longer lasting bit. The Premier Torsion Bits are exact fit; the machined bit tips fit screws with minimal variance. Impact Premier range is colour coded for easy recognition of the head shape of the bit. The Makita Impact Premier magnetic bit holder (available separately) is ideal for use with Impact Premier bits for extra holding power on the screw. The bit holder is designed to allow the bit holder’s torsion section to bend under load to take the pressure off the bit tip for increased durability in high torque applications.

I was considering the regular Makita magnet adapter but after seeing it's poor durability I decided to spend the extra money for this. So far it's been money well spent. I do think it's still a bit overpriced but in comparison to everything else that's out there – this is definitely it! I've tried other magnetizer and magnet adapters and this has by far been the strongest, simplest, and most durable (so far). Easy enough to install/remove. Has a nice fit on my bits and Klein Hex extension (as an aside if you pair this with Klein's extensions with the 1/4 socket for standard 1/4 bits it actually magnetizes the bits through the extension – just enough to keep the screw attached for easier installing/removing.) Awsome way to magnetize Klein 1/4 hex adapter and a couple of their other sockets!

An amazing little device. Slips over the drill bit and allows you to hold a screw in place while working. I used it recently to change hinges on the doors throughout my house and it made the task so much easier. It’s also very reasonably priced so it makes it one heck of a bite. I certainly recommend it.

Works great. I was considering the regular Makita magnet adapter but after seeing it's poor durability I decided to spend the extra money for this. So far it's been money well spent.
