I just started my journey of emergency preparedness and I couldn't be more impressed with the Wallaby mylar bags. These bags are absolutely top-notch for storing dry goods for long term storage. The quality of the material is outstanding - strong, thick and durable. The design of the bag makes it easy to stand up, so filling up the bag is a breeze. The zip lock seal works great and after heat sealing the bags with a hair straightener, I have had no issues with any bags leaking or opening unintentionally. Also like the mention, it's a great bonus that it comes with oxygen absorbers to keep stuff fresh and the stick on labels are great for keeping stuff organized. Overall, these bags offer excellent value for the price. They're easy to use, reliable, and perfect for anyone looking to keep food fresh especially for the long term. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

These are put together very well. They seal well. The labels are easily written on and stick well to the bags. The dri-locks need extra thought, as they don't keep well outside of sealed containers. I have not used these long term but over the summer, they kept the flour and sugar dry and fresh.

What a great kit! Nice quality bags, clear instructions, and everything you need other than the impulse sealer (I got a $20 model that did the job). It’s huge having the zip closure, not only for ease of re-closing when eventually opening the bag, but it also properly aligns the top of the bag for sealing. These are thick material that will not compromise easily and the gusset both allows them to stand up and helps with filling. No smell and no complaints!

Great bags and seals easily with a heat sealer.

Comes with everything you need for emergency storage. I used mine to store rice and beans. If you don’t have a bag sealer using an iron on the cotton setting with seal the bag just fine. Once the bag is opened I wouldn’t recommend trying to seal it again. It seems these bags are a one time use item but still good quality and easy to use.

Excellent quality, and a pretty good value. The 1/2 pint bags are pretty useless, but they’re essentially free in this pack.

Is holding up pretty well. I put my freeze dried foods in it and am pleased w the quality.

Great long term storage This was a great package to try all the sizes I have been doing long term storage now for all the food essentials. I would really like if they would work with food storage system to remove all air first before sealing but you can compress the bags pretty good and w/ the absorbers (they supply many ) then zip seal and heat seal food should last a long time going for the 20 to 25 year storage always be ready ! With earthquakes fires and other natural issues its a good idea to have bug in supplies as well as your bug out bag ready

No regrets. Super thick and sturdy bags. Very pleased. Even if these are made in china they are very good. No concerns at all.

The Wallaby mylar bag bundle was an awesome value when I purchased it - it is a shame to see the price jump as high as it has on Amazon. The mylar bags are nice and thick, a great sign for long-term storage where minimizing gas ingress is a must. The included oxygen absorbers appear to be of very high quality and are an equally important consideration for long-term food storage. I would absolutely purchase this kit again - I may just wait to see if it goes on sale, otherwise, the 'value' that the Wallaby brand brings becomes much lower when compared to other offerings.
