Unlike some aerators that attach to the bottle, or cost a fortune, only to be to 'gadgety' the Levare is very basic in its operation, but does what its supposed to.I purchased this one, as well as another one that was somewhat less expensive and seemingly fancier. You do get what you pay for here. The LEVARE Electric Aerator and Glass Decanter perfectly compliment one-another. The decanter is really nice. A compliment to any occasion. The aerator is very quiet, well made and once started, automatically stops when proper aeration is achieved (or when you lift the decanter).I am a casual wine drinker, but I can tell you that there is a big difference in taste between opening the bottle, letting it 'rest' for some time and sipping it, versus opening the bottle, pouring it into this decanter and aerating it. The surface area of the decanter is ideal for proper aeration and the process not only makes a difference, but it is a conversation piece as well! Well worth the price.

I was told my Levare was delivered yesterday but it had not arrived. I couldn’t get resolution from Amazon without leaving a review. I can’t give a legitimate review without having received the product.The seller found a resolution to the problem immediately and my package showed up at my door within the hour!It is BEAUTIFUL! It comes with a beautiful glass decanter that holds a 750mL bottle. Instructions recommend only decanting 600-650mL at a time but it worked beautifully!It is sleek, quiet, and I love having the option to use batteries or direct current. It comes with a high quality form fitting storage case for the base. It even comes with a cloth to gently clean fingerprints off of the finish.I am so glad I found Levare! It’s worth every penny!

We have a few wine aerator's but none that we really liked. We bought this because we liked the aesthetics and did not think it would make a big difference in the taste of the wine - boy, were we wrong. Not only is think visually beautiful, it does an incredible job in opening up the wine. We have tried it on numerous bottles and it really brings out the wine in all of them. We have found the most improvement in the $10-30 dollar wine bottles but it also works really well on the more expensive ones.We really like it and are going to buy a few more as holiday gifts for our wine loving friends and family

Dosnt work properly. Spins decanter off base wine spills. Postage was way expensive and delivery time was way too long. Heap of rubbish all round.

Right from the start, I was super impressed by the elegant packaging of the Levare Wine Aerator. It looks like a very high end luxury product and I really enjoyed unboxing it. The set up and use was super easy. To power it up, you can use batteries or the USB cable that comes with it. It also looks fantastic as the centerpiece on my dining table. It has an attractive base and the decanter looks very stylish as well.But looks aside, the product produces an amazing result. I really couldn’t believe how much different, better my red wine tasted and smelled after aeration. Just press the button and within a few minutes, it took away the bitterness and astringency and smoothed out the flavor considerably. This device is perfect for get togethers or as a wonderful gift. Not just a great table centerpiece but an awesome conversation piece as well. I love it!

I know I’m suppose to open the bottle and let it “breath” but more times than not I pop the cork and instantly pour myself a glass. I received my aerator as a gift and was a little skeptical but loved the design and figured at the very least it looks great and would be a good conversation piece when entertaining. It has been a total game changer, after a couple minutes of aerating my wine tastes bolder, rounder, more flavorful and much less acidic. I’d highly recommend to any wine enthusiast!

I've always hated waiting for wine to breathe, and often would just pour and drink (I know...blasphemy). I found this electric decanter and thought it might help. I tested it out and it blew away my expectations...I opened a bottle of Merlot, had a taste out of the bottle, and then poured the rest in the decanter. In a few minutes (maybe 3? I didn't time it but it was fast) it was done, and I skeptically poured a glass, tasted and woah!! This is the only way I'll be drinking wine from now on. Not to mention the packaging was really nice too.
