Good filter

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is my 4th K&N air filter purchase. I long ago quit believing some advertisements that claim 20 extra horsepower, but I do know that it does make a difference, and if you replace your traditional air filter at 20,000 miles as you should, this doesn't cost you anythin in the long run. K&N filters are easy to clean and they maintain their filtering ability without losing the free flow benefit to your engine. I can not speak about some of the competitive brands because I have not used them. I know K&N and don't need to trty others. That said, they are a simple thing that anyone can change and clean. These days with most all car using a ECM to monitor and adjust the fuel flow, you don't need to purchase a custom tune. When you make a mechaincal change like this, the ECM makes adjustments and you get more economy and performance.

Money well spent on this one. Definitely a difference in throttle response and by the seat of my pants it felt like it picked up a decent amount of horsepower and torque. I made that comment online and of course there were those that shot down my claim but they never used a K&N filter before so they wouldn't know. I definitely recommend one of these plus a good fuel additive to magnify the results.

Would recommend a k&n filter for cars and trucks better flow better than paper filter for your intake

Almost the first thing I do when I buy a new or used vehicle is install a K&N air filter. You can immediately feel the engine is more responsive and breathing better. I always notice a gain in gas mileage. I have these filters in two cars and a motorcycle. I clean them and recharge them every 50,000 miles and they continue to work flawlessly. You can tell by the amount of junk they release during cleaning that they are doing their job. These are the best investment you can make in your motors health along with scheduled oil changes.

First of all it installs pretty easy and fits good , secondly it’s going to save me money In the future since I’ll be buying a cleaning kit and the filter is lifetime , of the looks of it it’s easy to clean , but the most noticeable thing for me is the gas mileage have gone up like 2mpg for me , also it accelerates a bit faster now since the throttle response is like it’s from the lot , over all value for money I would recommend

Immediate throttle response increase. I installed this in a 2011 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. I can feel immediate increase in throttle response, the engine clearly is getting more air. I have not driven long enough to measure any MPG increase. Ill update in time. So bang for the bucks, this thing will pay for itself within 3 oil change cycles. It is a no brainer. Buy one.
