Awesome bass!
Great little sub! Installed it in my 97 Chevy OBS and works great for my application. Also a great price, great fit and super easy to hook up.

Great bass and great price
Installed under 2015 subaru crosstrek seat. Perfect fit. Easy install. The bass that this thing adds to my car is perfect! I was super surprised how much bass this thing kicks out!

Big sound, small package!
This little thing really impressed me. I needed some stronger bottom end power in my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. I have a Kenwood DMX8709s installed with a pair of Kenwood 6x9s in the front, and they sound good, but they distort at higher (or even mid) volume with bass turned up even a little bit. That's where this sub comes in. I wired it under my driver's seat and while it did take a minute of time to adjust my EQs and crossovers to remove the bottom end load from my speakers and onto the sub, it does an amazing job. Sound is crisp and tight even when turned way up past normal listening volume. In terms of the type of audio quality, I would describe this sub as tight and punchy. It doesn't hit the extremwly low frequencies that you might get from a proper ported sub enclusore (20hz or so), but it does much better than full range speakers. It seems to respond down to about 25hz, but it gains quite a but more response above 30hz. If you're listening to hip hop and expect street rattling bass at nearly inaudible low freqiencies, this isn't the sub for you. If you want premium audio system sound *inside* the car that you can feel and that suits virtually every other genre of music very well (seriously, everything from jazz to metal to chill beats sound amazing) and you don't want to sacrifice cargo space, this is where it's at. You will need to spend some time tuning EQs and crossovers, but it can be made to sound awesome. I can't believe it's this small and this cheap. I haven't attached the included brackets because it sits comfortably nestled when wedged between the seat anchors which allows me to slide it out of I want to make adjustments and it doesn't move when the vehicle is in motion. I picked up a boss 8 Guage wiring kit and it worked perfectly for my application. Great work Boss! Super happy with my purchase. Any thoughts I had about potentially returning it before I installed it are entirely gone.

Wow
Great unit!! Really packs a punch for a sub/amp combo unit. Definitely was not expecting that sound quality from it. It does have a few drawbacks to it. I would recommend using the 4 gauge wire instead of the 8. The ports on the unit are a little big and it’s hard to get a good connection. Wiring instructions could use some updating. The negative wire (black) only comes long enough to go the chassis and not the battery as shown. The volume dial has to be plugged in or the unit will not work. Instructions make it sound like it’s just for the remote control but in the troubleshooting portion you will find it as a common problem. I didn’t spring for the remote control as I deemed it an unnecessary option so I didn’t bother to plug the dial in until I had power and no sound. It does take some time to dial everything in to meet your own standards of the quality of sound you want. I would recommend this product for the quality and price. It has the trunk rattling capability if that’s what you desire but also has the ability to be just a great sounding speaker with the highs and lows.

Sounds good and is small
For what it is and price point it is powerful and sounds good, I have it in my honda del sol which is a small car and this thing is small as well fits amazingly.

Good subwoofer until you can afford something better.
It’s fine. Gets quite warm during normal function and it doesn’t sound quite as good as my other 12” 1200 watt Rockville Sub. Acoustics overall are lacking. Affordable is great though and works great as a “hold me over” subwoofer until you can afford something better

Pleased
I installed under the driver seat in a 2018 Honda Fit Sport. The Boss 8 gauge power and ground wires were pretty brittle which pissed me off. When stripping the housing, I lost a few strands which is just poor quality brittle copper. I also don't like that the bass adjust knob doesn't say "Boss" on it. It's just a generic min/max knob. I wasn't happy with the sound until I adjusted the settings to get whatever I could out of it. I maxed out the gain and bass on the amp and set the LPF to 50Hz. I then set the dash knob to max. On my Alpine W770 headunit I set the sub to the max at 15 and the LPF to 50Hz and the HPF to 50Hz for the front and rears. Only THEN did it shine. With everything maxed and LPF set to 50Hz. I keep the volume at about 20 and it sounds like a concert. I have Alpine type-R 6.5" components in the front and type-R coaxials in the rear doors. It sounds nice and full now. There is no where else to go with this sub as I have it completely maxed out. But it sounds good now. I was a little apprehensive to max it, but it has a mosfet so it sounds be fine. But maxed is the only way it sounds good and full. Makes the music much more enjoyable filling in that bottom end.

*NOT A ONE STAR REVIEW - README
I'm posting this as a one star review, so that people may not have the same experience I had. I hooked this up as instructed, in a 94 Geo Tracker with aftermarket Kenwood "media player" stereo and I could not tell it was working at all, very little thump. I jumped on the reviews and filtered to one star, and yup, many of the 1 star reviews were exactly the same as my problem, 6 X 9's in rear, no bass at all, can barely hear it over the 6x9's, etc. I was expecting WAY more out of it, as there were plenty of good reviews. Is it my cables? NO. hmm, I started adjusting the gain and other setting on the amp, (requires flat head screwdriver) and voila, I'm in business. Bass is definitely audible, and yes you can feel it, its not going to be earth shattering but it's definitely a huge difference and frankly quite good for the $.. in reality 5 stars, just check your settings and adjust, out of the box its not going to boom, but with some tinkering, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY FEEL THIS THING.

I updated my head unit and door speakers and my sound quality was improved greatly, but was lacking bass. Added this sub to my setup and now it sounds so good. Don't expect it to go as hard as a proper sub but it definitely adds that missing low end bass and makes my car audio system sound decent. Very happy with purchase, great way to get some extra bass without taking up usable space in car.

cuando lo sacas se ve la calidad del material, muy bueno, y aparte de muy delgado y le da ese toque de subwoofer que hace falta.

Installed this behind backseat of a 2024 f150 xlt supercrew with the base stereo system, wow what a difference! Well built sounds really good if your looking to round out a system with some bass! Worth every penny.

This thing bumps and is super easy to install. Hardest part was hiding the wires properly. I tried it under the seat and in the trunk of my 4Runner and decided to go in the trunk as I didn't like how much it made the seat vibrate. But this little unit totally changed my pioneer stereo. I already had high end mods and tweets but needed some base. This did it great and I love I can adjust the bass from the dash with the controller. Very impressed considering the price and size.
