This drain cover should be standard! I am extremely pleased to say this was a perfect fit for my kitchen sink drain. Although looking different, the design is pure genius and noticeably there is nothing like it on the market. I frankly dont know why the original drain cover has such large slits which in all cases allow too much food debris to make it into the pipes. These holes are just the right. Almost all debris gets caught by the strainer - including rice and other small bits which ultimately mean far fewer or no more blockages. Best of all, above other sink drain covers, this adopts an innovative design whereby there always remains enough air and space i.e. on top, to allow water to pass through without clogging up. Since fitting, I have had zero complaints and simply had to leave to a review to recommend to others!

This might fit most sinks but it doesn't fit mine, it's too small and most of the food still goes down the drain. Also you can't just tap the food out of the basket you have to get in there with your finger to scoop it out which is pretty gross. Then because you can't get all the food out you need to rinse it under the tap to get it clean which defeats the purpose of the thing. Lastly it broke on day three when I was washing a pan it bent the top sideways. More fool me for thinking that a high price and good reviews would indicate a quality product.

Does what it is supposed to do. Collect junk in the sink while allowing free flow of water! The lip is well designed to maximise draining and so water doesn't pool as it waits to be drained leaving residue in the process.

Fit perfectly for my sink and it is working well for my intended purposes. It stops small pieces going through the sink avoid blockage.

Works well, fits pretty well. Easy to clean. Durable. Doesn't impede drainage. Doesn't catch as much as a mesh strainer, but it's easier to clean. Still, I recommend it.
