Good OEM Option
I have done two fuel filter changes since owning my Duramax. I have only used this GM Genuine filter, and I have not had any issues. The O-rings that are included are good quality and have not leaked.

Perfect fit for my truck. However, time consuming to install due to where the manufacture placed filter under the hood.

Fuel Filter must be from GM & AC Delco's new design
I've purchased this AC Delco fuel filter TP3018 - ten times before to service my 2011 chevy duramax. However for this recent purchase the packaging was different (GM vs AC Delco) and the design of the primary O-Ring seal was different. The packaging looks like it might be a counterfeit part and this coupled with the different O-Ring design made me suspicious. I've verified that this Amazon part and packaging is identical to the parts now stocked at the local GM dealer and at a local AutoZone store. So GM has made a system wide change. I won't comment on GM's change in packaging but a new O-Ring design after 14 years of production seems a little odd. The original O-Ring material was round and much thicker, the new design material is diamond shaped. The new design seal for the mounting screw center shaft is very tight and it is very difficult to feel when you have started engagement on the primary O-Ring seal. After installing I had some hard start issues after it sat for a few days, which typically means you lost the prime and you have an air leak in the low pressure side of the fuel system. My guess is I might have over tighten the filter and caused a small air leak. I purchased a new filter locally from the dealer (exact design & packaging as my Amazon purchase) and installed it so far so good. On prior installations I always put some diesel fuel on the large primary O-ring seal but this time I also put some fuel on the filter internal seal that goes around the center mounting screw shaft. This made feeling the initial point of engagement much easier, we shall see!!
