We just added some leftover pvc pipe, end caps, a 1/4" x 3/4" bolt, and two washers. The V yoke is soft enough to do a good job of steadying, cradling & protecting your specialized equipment. We shoot a 300 BO at the feral hogs digging up our yard. The mount has worked every time we have called upon it to shoot accurately. Works with modern sporting rifle and old fashioned wooden stock.
