I wanted to replace my run flats tires but I needed a Mercedes "Flower" lug nut socket. The tire shop didn't have what I needed. Mercedes sold me a wrench and the tire shop told me it would round off the lug nuts and possibly damage my wheels. I found this socket on Amazon along with another brand. If both brands worked, I'd keep one in the vehicle and one at home. This is the one the tire shop said to use. He took one quick look and said no to the other (red) one. After the work was done, all my lug nuts look perfect.

If you have a Mercedes with the Convex Flower Head Lug Bolts, I recommend you use this type of socket and not a 17MM. The 17MM mares the finish and after a while it's noticeable when looking at the wheels especially if they are clean. This socket keeps the head of those blots looking great and the plastic outer layer keeps from scratching the lug holes in the wheels.

Most places use a 17 mm regular socket that damages your flowered lugnuts, this socket fits correctly. Take it with you when you get your tires changed.
