As far as I can see, this seems to help keep our fountains clean

Works well to keep the white stains from building up on my water fountain.

We have extremely hard water that quickly discolors our three fountains (metal and stone). We tried calcium and lime dissolvers with fair results. Then we tried EasyCare ProTec Scale and Stain Remover and were amazed at the results. It works quickly and keeps stains at bay for months, not days or weeks.I do wish it came in a spray bottle for a more controlled direct application on areas where the build up is more pronounced, but I'll pick up one myself.Looking forward to sitting next to one of our fountains while sipping an iced tea, rather than stressing over lime and scale build-up.

So happy I found this on Amazon. I recently moved and couldn’t find it in any of the local stores/ garden shops. This product really helps keep the scale down on my fountains. Of course, regular maintenance is still important.

The scale and stain remover works, but not to the degree I hope to achieve. Perhaps I need to experiment with dosesmore. My fountain is stain-free, but there is scale build up that I don't want.

Our fountain has frequent visits from the birds in the area so we’d like to keep the water clean and safe for the environment we found this product helps to do that and our rocks actually stay cleaner with less algae.

I have a small fountain in my front yard. Always had problems with keeping the water clean and gunk build up on the fountain itself. This product does as good a job as you could expect. Even the birds can't foul the water like they did before I used this product. Since the fountain only holds two gallons, I change the water every week or two. This is necessary as the pump will clog without being cleaned. I highly recommend Protect.
