Be careful ordering this bat. The 30" 20oz (drop -10) has been banned from Little league. The Easton website says it has been USA "decertified". But that apparently does not apply to other weight or length versions of this bat. Your kids coach or umpires may not know the nuance that drop -11 bats are still ok and end up harassing your kid. This is a good bat. It can end up vibrating like any other bat but I feel it's a good bat for my son to get around quickly and thump the ball with. After having it for half the season I dont think it performs any better than bats half it's price but definitely better than the lowest end Eastons. The whole idea being USA certification is to have metal or composite bats that perform similarly to wood. That means no more drop -13 bats and bats that have insane "pop" like before. That means that the performance gap between mid tier and too tier bats has shrunk. So I give this bat 5 stars but the next level down version of this bat gets 5 stars too and it's over $100 cheaper and won't raise any eyebrows because of the 30/20 decertification.

lots of pop off this batt, it was the most used batt of the season (my kid let his teammates use it). no problems at all. a bit painfull on the hands if you don't hit clean, wear gloves.

my son couldn't hit the side of a barn with a guitar and he got this bat and started ripping the ball

The bat showed up in new / perfect condition. My son has used it for a month's worth of practice and a session in the batting cage and so far he loves it. He has not complained about "stinging", even with two practices occurring with temps in the low 40s. No comment on longevity at this point, it's too early.

Very good bat when you hit the sweet spot. I’d suggest replacing the stock grip with a thicker padded bat handle tape. This bat has quite a sting when you connect with the ball. But, you can get used to it.
