Great knives! Have an original one - dating back to the late 80’s early 90’s. New ones are every bit as good! They seem to be made well and not expensive

I mean, they are sharp but the metal goes blunt quite quick. I’ve sharpened that many times now the blade is no longer flush with the chopping board, so the middle of the blade does not quite slice the skin of say, a pepper, when dicing. It is nearly a year old though. Not too bad. Good value

Feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, I like the fact that they are self sharpening and the act of replacing them into the protective sheath keeps the blade safe and sharp. As a home cook I find these to be versatile. However the sheath accepts the knife inserted back wrongly. The sharp blade should point to the tiny writing to allow contact with the sharpener. I wrongly presented it the wrong way and the smaller knife is stuck firmly inside the sheath (if I pull hard it may free but I risk a nasty cut) as the blade is very thin and razor sharp! Adjustment should be made by manufacturers to prevent the knife being able to go in sheath wrongly. The sheath will also sharpen other knives of similar sizing.

Sharp. They stay that way because of the cleaver sheaf that sharpens when you insert and remove a knife for use. Solid blade with good weight and balance. Don’t use any of my old knives now.

Good when they work. I bought a set of two, and the larger holder broke so I have to sharpen the knife with a separate sharpener. It is also possible to put the smaller knife back into it's holder the wrong way round.

Love the Wiltshire knives. And scissors! They work so well, because they self-sharpen. Sadly have been unable to find them in Canada. My only criticism is that eventually the holster/sharpener dies, even though the knives are still good.
