This design tricks bugs into thinking they're in your tent with you but they really arent. We get mosquitoes even in our house every night and we hadnt slept good in 2months due to having to put bug spray on to go to bed. The first night camping in this tent was heaven 😍 honestly just wanted to use it in our bedroom for bug control even at home lol. Plus also bc of this design it makes it super easy to sweep tree needles and dirt off the floor of the mudroom bc it's all open you just sweep it out onto the ground no need to try to get it over the zipper opening or out of the seams (minus you still have this problem inside the sleeping quarters part but only if you dont wipe your feet before going in). We had a queen sized air mattress for me and my 6ft bf plus with our dog who did sleep in with us (the pictures show her in the mud room tho bc when she was wet from swimming it was great we could just lock her out in there until she dried) and that still left us with about 1.5ft on either side for clothing and other items, plus the mud room you also get about a 2ft by 2ft spot on either side for storage. We've used it for a total of 7 days so far that is 2 seperate camping trips. It did leak a tiny tiny bit near one of the seems along the room at the back but we were getting tornado downpours every few hrs for 3 out of the 4days of our first camping trip so I saw no judgment on it (every other tent weve bought an used hasnt lasted the one camping trip without poles snapping or zippers coming apart, my bf is hard on zippers bc he has giant hands lol) the zippers on this feel way better quality than most and have yet to get stuck or pull apart, even with a pit bull trying to run through it on occasion lol. The hardest part about setting it up is not getting knocked out by it as it springs open lol. To put it back together really not too bad I have to keep looking at the instruction manual as I go through the folding steps but really only the last fold makes me nervous bc it doesnt feel like it's going to fold. But once it does it fits back in its bag easily and it has 2 straps on it for easy carrying. I think the only things I could see for improvement would be another opening for air flow along the back the inside layer is screen but there is no zipper opening along the outside cover to be able to open it.. The side window flaps I would of liked some rivets in them so I could string them out as a rain cover for the windows so we could leave them open when it rained (The door has these). And also with the side windows I could of liked the inside layers zipper to go farther across instead of only like a foot wide to reach through to the outer window zipper and flap. A minimum 2ft zipper would of been way handier! Review: Lives up to its promises - easy popup setup and roomy for 2 people - I have put this tent through the ringers of 5 campouts thus far this summer and it holds up well....it DOES take some practice on how to twist-fold the beams to pack it down after use, but the poles do not break despite having to torque them into place with folding it up for storage. My Verdict: Recommended for 1-2 people; well-made and is good for easy camping use with little setup needed. THE PROS: 1. Popup setup - really IS easy. Literally throw it at the spot and it just about pops up on its own. 2. Well-made; stitches and zippers are good quality; mosquito mesh is fine and small thread, so most mosquitoes and small knat-like bugs cannot get through. 3. Material is durable; does not tear 4. Waterproof (I only had one time when it rained lightly, and i stayed dry inside) THE CONS: 1. Packing up by bending/twisting the poles to fit it bag into the storage bag DOES takes practice (its a learning curve) 2. Interior space; not much headroom when entering or leaving the front entrance (your back might get strained unless you go in or out of the tent entrance on your hands and knees), but sitting inside is fine. You need to kneel when getting in or out of the tent, due to the low ceiling. 3. Front entry area - wished they had used that for lengthening the interior/sleeping area more. Ventilation: Its okay, but on the opposite end of the tent, away from the front entrance, the small vent window is not adequate for letting in enough air on hot days. 5. Realistically, there's enough interior room for 2 people laying side-by-side with inflatable twin-size mattresses....you could fit three 6' tall adults in there, but would have little extra room beyond the three sleeping bags and the people would be laying shoulder-to-shoulder...I am 6'2" tall and with my head almost touching the far end when laying down, my feet almost push against the interior netting near the entrance... 6. Mine held up to a small storm with no leaks but an additional rain fly wouldn’t hurt, especially towards the entrance where it slopes down. The zipper of the windows on 6 person tent is with two pulls, so you can zip it from the inside or the outside of the tent. **Q: Any warranty?** A: Hello, I'm glad to answer it for you. The tents come with a one-year warranty. **Q: Can at least 4 sleeping bags fit in this tent and maybe a dog?** A: There is NO WAY to put 4 sleeping pads in the main space, only fit 3 sleeping pads. Only exception is if you put 1 sleeping pad in the vestibule (which is not sealed), or you don't use sleeping pad. I just received this tent today. big disappointment. vestibule is such waste of space.
