DELL OptiPlex 3060 SFF Desktop PC Intel i5 8500 16GB RAM 512GB SSD TPM 2.0 Windows 11 Pro (1D1G7) (Renewed)

Great piece of kit. Needed to upgrade due to my old PC not supporting Win11. This seemed a low cost way to do it. It came on time and... - as specified (i5, 16Gb, 512Gb, HDMI, VGA, DisPort, USB3x4, USBx4, DVD, NiC) all of which I've used and work. - with a USB WiFi dongle (not used as I am using the NiC) - Win11 pre-installed and activated (I was up and running in about 30 seconds) I replaced the Win11 (my choice to do that to check but not necessary) and the hardware was recognised as compatible with no issues. Excellent! Simple comparison with my old machine shows it's running full tilt as per i5 benchmarks online. Not done multi thread loading tests yet but I may update this review once I've done some video encoding with it. Inside the machine was pretty dust free and the fan runs silently. Had it running continuously for 24 hours without an issue. I've added a 1Tb SATA SSD (cables are inside and connected) and that works fine. I'm a happy customer (well done ASC) and I hope the details above help others...

bought this refurbished pc and after a year it's still excellent. fast start up and virtually silent pc. very responsive, easy to set up and use. came in very good condition and still working great. a good bargain.

Multiple issues with this purchase: 1. Delivered product was different to the one advertised - came with two HDMI, rather than the expected 1 x HDMI and 1 x Display Port. 2. Had a DVD from the previous owner still in the drive. 3. Would not boot when turned on, after several attempts it went to the bios screen. 4. Subsequently, it would go to the bios screen on every power up as settings (date) were missing. Suspected this may be due to low battery on motherboard, so went to replace this and the holder for the battery fell off the motherboard (likely explains lack of bios setting retention.

Bought mainly to watch various apps (Disney+, Paramount+) on my TV which wouldn't download. Great little PC. Sparks up really quickly. Quiet. Fast. Does exactly what it says. Good graphics. Good value for money.

This computer arrived well within the specified time. it was very well packaged and I went over it with a fine toothed comb and could not find any scratches or dents on it anywhere. It was easy enough to set up but if you are expecting Windows 11 to be installed on this machine like the description suggests you will be disappointed. Having said that it only takes a few minutes to download windows 11 and install it. Again ,I didn't have any issues what so ever. This is the second Dell refurbished computer I have purchased and I like the way dell have designed them. Don't be worried about it being SFF case as there is plenty of room to upgrade. As always check the reviews and read other peoples comment before buying.

PC works really well... there is a loose bit rattling inside the tower but it doesn't affect anything and it works like a dream. Thanks

I needed a PC specifically for web browsing. I've built my own PC's for the last 30 years, but found that the price of a case, psu, cpu, motherboard, memory, SSD etc, plus windows 11 a bit off putting., probably a minimum of £600 to £700. I saw this renewed Dell PC from ASC Technology at ~ £150. My initial thoughts were that you don't get much for that price, and for a few days I swapped between wanting to buy one, and not wanting to buy one because I expected to be disappointed with it.
