But why? been doing brakes since the 80's, aside from the twist and push (parking brake piston) i use a c-clamp for everything. why this? lol

Some calipers are rounded and are not easily compatible with a c clamp, causing the clamp to break free and slip and others have an offset piston meaning that with every turn of a c clamp to compress the piston, you are simultaneously driving the piston sideways. There's also an issue with not having the clearance to turn the handle on the c clamp in a cramped space. The c clamp usually works anyway, but at some risk to the piston and caliper. This eliminates these two issues. I'd usually use a massive c clamp anyway, but there are times this is better.

The picture shows a Caliper hanger, is this included? I don't see in the description.

The one that I received didn't include Caliper hanger.
