Amazing Book.

Tenho todas as edições e cada uma tem algo novo. Em relação a versão anterior, não há muita diferença. A maior diferença está na escolha das palavras e nas explicações. As partes novas, como meia maratona e ultramaratona podem melhorar, mas como o autor já tem praticamente 90 anos, duvido que haverá uma quinta edição. Mas ... é um livro fantástico.

Love these flexible training plans!
This is an excellent guide for any long or short distance runner. Tons of flexibility in plans, great advice from a master, and easy to follow plans. Way better than the marathon plan I used the first time. Now I look forward to trying for a 10k!

A great Marathon and Half-Marathon Guide Book
This is a very good book for both beginners and experienced runners. It enlightens me with many concepts, guidelines and principles that guide me toward a healthy and fruitful training for half-marathons and marathons. The VDOT concept is innovative, and the training schedules for HM and FM are very useful. I followed one of its HM training schedule and that led me to a 3 hours and 5 minutes Marathon, which made me so happy

A good read, but gets a bit heavy at times.
I’m not saying that this will make you a better runner, but it will probably tell you why you’re not LOL. I think running ‘science’ is full of fads, but there is plenty of time-honoured info in here.
