brought for my brother-in-law, who is pleased with the gadget and would suggest it.

Got this item for diagnosing issue of my car. Got the error code easily. But I need to return as I need more complex scanner that can view live data for each cylinder.

Im so excited .. im surprised , no manual and when i use on my car nissan armada 2009 it is ok you can see the code error and what it is and you can erase it or deleted.. but mostly it is limited some features or option is not supported ..it is basic scantool obd... i thought it can read a lot or at least you can see the live data, odometer not supported, and also , battery you cannot see the status how many % remaining , transmission live data not supported,

Great product. 10/10 After registering the device, I updated all the software. Then ran a check on my 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. ***** It sorted out this problem I had - and saved me $150 trip to the dealer. ****** I had a 'DPF service required' warning on the dashboard. Even though I had the dealer do a regen about 6 months ago. When I scanned the car with my cheap OBD2 scanner it came up with an oil level too high fault. Checked the oil and it was high. So I changed the oil but I couldn't clear the fault code. It just wouldn't clear, even though the oil level was perfect. I thought I must have a faulty sensor. Then I scanned with the AUTEL MX808S and it gave the same error code. Then using the AUTEL I did an oil change reset function, which I couldn't do on my cheap OBD scanner. This tells the ECU that an oil change has been performed. Then I cleared the oil level too high fault code and it cleared and the DPF service warning cleared as well. Without this tool, I thought I had a faulty oil level sensor and would have asked the dealer to check. Who knows what that would have cost me? And they may have run another DPF regen, which my car doesn't need. (With the AUTEL I'm able to check the soot levels in the filter, and do a manual regeneration if I need to) I do the servicing on my own vehicles (as much as possible) and this tool is going to be a game changer for me. I was considering selling my diesel and buying a petrol, because I'm sick of not being able to fix DPF issues. Now with this scanner I may just stick with my diesel. 😀

Tool works great, really solid build quality. Software is fairly intuitive. Worked well to bleed my ABS.

Most honest review here, i bought it with my own money. This is an amazing scanner. I’ve used some really good ones, I upgraded from an Icon T7 to this and am amazed by the functionality and accuracy of this scanner. Way better than the Icon T7 IMO. More service tests and functions. I’ve used top dollar scanners as well and this is up with them. Obviously not as good, it is wired and it can use A rubber case if there’s one available. But overall review, amazing tool. It does cost $125 USD a year but comes with one year free. It said two, but it’s one year free. Update it as soon as you get it there will be about 80 updates and takes about an hour. Scans every type and model automotive. 10/10 recommend. Great value, good size / weight, easy to use if you know what you’re doing. Other than the update being slow, it is very quick to diagnose a car. Plug and play, takes about 30-40 seconds to scan. I searched for two weeks to find a good scanner. This review is so that you can skip what I did. It’s a great tool for professionals or advanced techs diy or whatever. Not for beginner techs or someone without knowledge of automotive until you learn more. This tool is great, can’t say it enough. Very surprised with all the tests you can run on this thing.

What a fantastic piece of kit. I have a 2001 Nissan Patrol/Safari that uses Consult (not ODB2) but has an ODB2 port. This is the only device that I've been able to buy that actually communicated with the ECU, read the fault codes, and was able to delete them. Extremely happy with my purchase.
