Its a thin plastic but serves its purpose. The thicker ones i have break due to the kids. My little girl steps on these from time to time and have proven resilient. Would recommend.

Cheap brittle plastic with weak magnets super glued on the plastic making that part of the plastic even more brittle trying to remove the weak magnets. The magnet positions are right were the screws are for our vents.Things I had to do to improve the design and make it work for our vents:-removed magnets-make cuts to accommodate the screws on vents-put double-sided tape around edge to secure onto the ceiling vents$12 for 2 covers is worth it. Much better than the other curved design covers that barely fit over the vents and barely redirect the airflow of the vents due to the poor designs where it's not a tight or precise fit.

We have a couch over the vents like most people. This will help our situation. Good for the job, tooooo expensive for the material. The material is very thin and flimsy and I think it could be more sturdy or 1/2 the price.

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. you are better off buying magnets and a plastic baggie. One came broken, the other one the magnets fell off, because of cheap glue. I did get another product from the same vendor and that one was great, I will write a review on that one as well.

I have a ceiling register directly over my bed. It blows cold A/C air on me all night long. I need a cool room to sleep well, but don't want to be directly under a blowing register. Unfortunately, I can't really move the bed to a different place in the room due to where windows are located and did not want to block those with the bed.I have been wanting to find a solution to deflect the cold air away from blowing on me. These work perfect! They are lightweight and thin, but they really NEED to be in order to stick to a ceiling and not be so heavy that they fall off. The magnets are small but strong, and the price is incredible for a 2-pack over what you might pay at a hardware store (and I could not even find these somewhere local).Just purchased for more bedrooms in our house!

The plastic is very thin. I purchased the set as it was the only thing close to what I was looking for. They are not long enough for my registers so have left the ones I had over the top. They do redirect the heat and I've had no issues with warping or melting as some reviewers have mentioned. Still looking for something larger and sturdier. In the meantime, these do an adequate job for what they are designed to do.
