I bought these for cutting some conduit to install in our garage and whilst the tool did work I found that it did have a habit of "squishing" the conduit or causing it to shard and fragment.This did seem to subside if I rotated the tube and applied a small amount of pressure from each angle beforehand however always there did seem to be some squishing however for the price of the tool I wouldn't say it is a huge issue especially considering the area affected is normally covered by any fixings

When I first used the plastic pipe cutter, it shattered the conduit I was testing on. When I moved onto water pipe, the pipe was distorted befor le cutting through. However, I found that with a slight twist as I cut through the pipes, the cutter left a clean cut without distorting.It is difficult to hold the cutter square to the pipe, so getting a perfect end is probably beyond this, but if you're happy with an angle of a few millimeters across the pipe, this makes cutting far quicker and less messy than a saw would be.The little cutter that comes with it also cuts well, although I haven't tried using it in any awkward spaces in situ.

Bought these because i only needed them for one job.. they did the trick.. not sturdy enough to last a pro for years but brill for a DIYer.. bonus with the tape and cutter as well.. quids in

Was surprised just how good these were. Especially the snip type handle style cutter. Very sharp blade. And feels sturdy

Works well on blue piping. But difficult to cut straight but still a good tool.
