My mom and my mother-in-law are happy with this because it helps them with their back pain and they can walk feeling more supported in their spine.

I am a size 22 in dresses, with a 40 inch waist and 53 inch hip, and I usually wear a size 2x in most clothes. I had ordered a size up since the instructions said to do so if one is between sizes and when I ordered this I had a 56 inch hip, but the 3x (xxxl) was too large for me -- on the tightest setting it was still loose. I then ordered the 2x which works VERY well for me. I use it to rest my back after a workout because I have to carry heavy bags to my car right after I work out and this can strain my back. For a little while I was making the mistake of cinching it too tight- now I just pull it a LITTLE (like, half an inch or an inch) past where it would fall without stretching, and it supports my back wonderfully. Edit 8/29/2020: after 18 months of fairly regular use, it now requires a tighter cinch since the elastic is more stretched out, but it still works really well. I have run it through the washer a few times (taking the "bones" out and fastening the velcro so that it didn't tangle) and hung it to dry with no issue. I'm changing my review to a 5-star because I didn't expect this length of durability! Excellent product, would definitely purchase again. Also, I saw some complaints about it rolling or sliding off of hips -- if it rolls, you probably have it on too tight, or you need to take the "bones" (the stiff part in the middle of the back) out. On me it bends with my waist curve when I sit, but I took the bones out immediately because I know that will not work with a sharp waist/hip curve. It will slide up your hips over time but literally anything that is not custom-made will do that if you have wider hips than waist. It stays in place well if you are standing or walking. I make sure not to bend at the waist when I wear this unless I am prepared to adjust it immediately. Adjusting it is not difficult unless I'm wearing several layers on top.

I am a woman that weighs 270 pounds I’m I’m 5 foot three and I wear a size 20 pants and a 3X shirt so I got the 2X I sized down and it is huge. I am currently waiting to exchange it for an extra large. I will keep you posted to see if this fits correctly. I hope this helps anyone that decides to purchase it. quality wise this thing is made very well. I feel like it’s long enough to actually cover a good portion of your butt and lower back if you’re having pain in your lower back sciatic area like I am, so definitely down

I volunteer at an equine rescue once a week, and I bought this to wear to help with my chronic low back pain. The brace does help, but it doesn’t stay in place. I constantly have to re-adjust it, which is a huge pain. I wish it stayed in one place a little better.

I'm highly disappointed in this brace, I have pear shape body. I measured both around the belly button and hips to make sure I got the right size. It fits fine while standing or walking, but if I sit down either the bottom flips up or the top folds in on itself. I have tried tighting it, loosening it, having the top part tighter than the bottom and bottom tighter than the top by have the velcro go at an angle. Nothing helps so about very 10 to 15 minutes I am readjusting it. I don't know of I need the foam insert, but I really don't want to spend another $15 to have it not work.

I got this to support my lower back while walking. I have not yet used it, but it is very comfortable and feels very supportive when I put it on. It is actually better quality than I had expected, so I am very happy with it. I liked that I was able to get the larger size that I needed. Update: I had the chance to wear this back brace, and I walked nearly a mile with it on, and not once did I feel the muscle tightening or pain that I felt previously when walking before I ordered this. I wore it around my lower waist and hips/stomach. It has allowed me to walk long distances again without worrying that the muscles in my back are going to cramp up and make me head back home. I think this is well worth the money I paid for it.

This is one of those best support strap Ive had so far, only one downside to this product is that when wearing, the strap moves up as you sit or bend over. Can get abit annoying however besides that, superb for standing and walking while wearing it all day. I'd still give 5 stars since the comfortability and quality is much better than other straps on market.

It is easy to put on & helps supporting my back. The only thing I'd like is have the velcro to be longer, so I can tighten it as I loose weight

Having a back injury and working as a nurse, I'm on my feet a lot. Prior to the back brace, my back could barely manage post shift activities. Now, wearing this during my shift makes me feel like I can double my steps and standing. Only negative is that the outer Velcro tends to grip and pull brace down. May get better with more practice, overall a very positive outcome for me. My naval measurement is a 58" and purchased 3xl, and brace was almost too big. Seems to be true to size will purchase again if need be.
