The Old Farmer's Almanac Flower's Gardener's Handbook
The Old Farmer's Almanac has been around since 1792 and has been providing great information about good old Mother Earth. I have always been a fan of the original book and was delighted to learn that there are others. We recently started a Nursery in our backyard I purchased the Vegetable Gardner's Handbook which my husband did a YouTube video about it was very helpful with our vegetable plants, so I wanted to add flowers to the mix I purchased the Farmer's Almanac Flower Gardener's Handbook that offers great advice and gives detailed information with pictures and charts you can't go wrong in ordering this book and others from The Old Farmer's Almanac

Beautiful photos but was hoping for more soecific flower varieties to be discussed
First, this book is lovely with inspiring photographs and good basic cultivation techniques for flower gardening. However, I was very disappointed in their coverage of only 32 flower varieties. Maybe I went into this purchase thinking it would be more of an encyclopedia of many more types of flowers. Regardless, it is a beautiful basic flower book and a nice layout of information full of good reminders for even the seasoned grower of our lovely flower friends. 🌻

What a great book for anyone who is interested in gardening and with the Holidays just around the corner it's a great gift idea. I've bought 2 so far, one for myself and one for a friend and I suspect that I'll be purchasing a few more also as gifts. There is a ton of usefull information for the avid gardener or for someone who wants to be an avid gardener or just a few pots type of gardener. It's a great book no matter how you look at it.
