I used this to set up forms for a cement pad. Way cheaper than the laser tools and worked great. I'm in the south so I was using it in the evening inside a barn. Beam was bright but I don't know how it would work in the sun. Would be great for pictures and inside a house for anything leveling. To me it was cheap and the self leveling helped me alot on uneven dirt. Made the job way easier. Tried string leveling but couldn't get all the strings to line up. This lined it up in minutes and helped alot lining up the boards. Amazing tool. I'll be using this again for sure.

The dual option Huepar green laser level is compact and easy to use. I recently used the laser level to hang a door in a rough opening. The lines were accurate and easy to see. I used my "manual" level to double-check the lines and they were both level and plumb.I also liked the option of being able to use the level as a straight line like on an unlevel area such as stairs or hanging pictures at an angle. With past laser levels, I was not able to transfer from self-leveling lines to a straight line at the angle I want.I was impressed with the small compact unit that was easy to use and I even used the box it came in to protect it and store it in my toolbox.I would recommend this laser level to a professional or do-it-yourselfer. The accuracy means you can have a quality outcome if you "color within the lines...haha".

looks good works great but power wont turn off. even though there is power button, (turns on but Not turning off) gotta remove batteries to turn off but its hard to removed the lid..... verrry hard

If you just need a vertical line that is perpendicular to the center of the Earth, this will do that. If you need a laser leveling system, this is not it. If you put it in auto-leveling mode, you get a straight vertical line. But you can't reposition the horizontal line. So, you can't use a right angle. The horizontal line has to be the same height as the level. If you lock it in, it changes position, which makes locking it in useless.This is not a functional product.
