The figure was detailed and lovely. The light string was impossible to weave behind the tiny areas without tweezers or a pointed tool. The plastic battery receptacle would not stay together and the batteries kept falling out. And finally required a piece of tape or a rubber band.I think the most disappointing thing was that one of the batteries had started leaking at some point and came completely apart so we had to go and purchase additional watch batteries to even get the lights to work. Our granddaughter who loves wolves, love the detail in the shadow box but a huge amount of time was spent trying to get the lights to stay where we tried to place them and the batteries to work.

Luckily my daughter adores the wolf as is. The artwork is just as shown in the pictures and is impressive. The only reason I didn't 5 star it is because once you start trying to add the wires, the wires don't hide, they're just there so it takes away from the beauty if the piece. We may just skip the lights as the piece stands alone wonderfully.

Small and useful

I like how this piece looks on its own but how do you put the lights in? A video showing how to assemble it would have be helpful this items purchase.

The lights are a pain to put in. I ended up skipping them.
