What specific lithium ion battery is needed and where can you purchase it

If you purchase a standard 16340 battery, note that it cannot be charged in the flashlight with the provided charge cable. The original battery is not a standard battery, it is modified to be able to be charged in the flashlight. If you try charging a standard battery in the flashlight it will short out whatever you are using to power the charger cable.

Can the clip be flipped so the light can be carried lense down in a pocket?

When the light is turned into the straight position the clip doesn't get in the way. There is no issue when the light is lens down in the pocket.

No, it does not. I have it get turned on several times in my pocket. It gets very hot.

Can this flashlight be mounted on a ball cap visor?
