These pads stay in place with a decent grip on hardwood, and natural rubber will not leave chemical residue or stick to the floor. They've been keeping the high-traffic doormats from sliding around and TBD how well they will grip while vacuuming.

I've only had this rug pad for a few weeks, but so far so good! It is very, very thin, which is fine for what we are using it for -- under the dining room rag rug, which is flat and allows the chairs to slide in and out pretty easily. If you are looking for additional cushioning, I'd get one of the other (pricier) rug pads. But if you are just looking for a non-skid backing, this should work well. It's coated in natural rubber, which is supposed to be safe for your wood floors. It's over a polyester netting and is a bit thin in places, so if you are concerned about it wearing off, you may want to upgrade. For the price, I'm very happy with this pad so far.

Works like a charm. My husband didn’t believe that it would work but he was surprisingly impressed. I bought a large and cut it down for a few of our rugs. We really needed it for our hallway runner 3ft x 18ft. It hasn’t moved at all since I put this under.

When I bought my house in May 2016, everyone told me rug pads where so expensive. So naturally I went to amazon to find a deal and this was it! For the price, this is great. My rug does not slip or slid ever. I ordered a larger size than I needed and then cut it down. I then had some leftovers that I used all over my house! Backdoor rug, front door, etc and those have held up great as well. I would definitely purchase again.To speak to some other reviews- I have laminate hardwoods and this has not left any residue at all. It is not super thick and cushy, but I didn't expect that. I have a wool rug and just needed something to hold it to the floor and it does the job. I do have a small dog who will sometimes runs down the stairs and lift part of the rug and pad, but it's never had any issues sticking back to the floor.

Thin, non-slip material, easily cut to fit 2 inside door mats and 1 kitchen mat. Not intended to be a pad; did not raise the level of the mats. Bought primarily because it had a natural rubber, not synthetic, coating. Would buy again, but hope it will be durable and will not need to be replaced for several years.

This does it’s job and the carpet doesn’t move around. If looking for a little padding under your rug this is not the right fit. It smelled in Italy when we got it but that went away shortly.

I purchased this 6' x9' pad as a traction mat for a puppy litter.It survived many laundry washes intact, dried quickly and withstood sharp puppy claws.I appreciate that it did not fall apart or shed pieces like some other ones have.Very happy with my purchase and have bought more since.

Stopped the rug from shifting and at a very good price. Also delivered to our door on time, as promised.

I searched for an underlay for a hall carpet (4x6), because I didn't want sand and gravel from winter boots to scratch the hardwood flooring under it. I needed a soft, pliable, thin one, as I didn't want the carpet to be raised and become a toe catcher. This underlay was perfect; it has held the carpet in place and was easy to cut to size. I will buy it again, should I need to.

Easy to install. No problems with rug slipping. Exact thickness I wanted. Not sure if it will cause any damage to my laminate floor but time will tell.
