But the standard pasta machine will make spaghetti, lasange and fettucine. You have to buy other tools to make the special shapes. They are normally made from pasta lasagna sheets. The dough press is great, I use it every week, but the noodle cutter isn't so great. The whole thing came apart when it fell on the floor one time, and I can't seem to get the springs back together, so it's now useless. If you have intentions of using the cutter, maybe find something a little better.
