Dolby Digital Plus on the other hand can give you Dolby Atmos as well; although it will be compressed. **Q: Does this switch support Dolby Atmos?** A: I believe my Apple TV uses Dolby Atmos and it supports it fine. **Q: If I turn off auto switching, is it supposed to turn back on when the unit is powered off and back on?** A: I have not tried that. I use both auto switching and remote signals to increase the probability it will work. The remote works well. One feature I like is that when you turn on a device it will auto switch to that one if that's the only device that's on. If you have 2 (it can handle 3 units) devices on, it stays with the one you have selected.
