These cards are very expensive for their value as an ice breaker! They are very small and the questions are sometimes rather abstract. I am using them in an ESL conversation group and some participants have difficulty deciphering the meaning of the questions (I would imagine them to be difficult for children as well). I will continue to use them, but feel that they were not a really valuable resource.

I love this. It’s great to start conversations and perfect for my ASL students. Perfect shape and size and not too heavy. It’s worth it to buy it. It’s fun!

I use these for downtime the last 5 minutes of class. It keeps students distracted before the bell rings. They are great participants and laugh a lot.

I met some new folks a this summer. We occasionally go out to dinner. The conversation always is the same. I thought these would be fun and a way to get to know them better. Well, I tried a couple cards a dinner. A couple people like the idea. A few insulted. Oh well, I tried. Questions are ment for friendly dialog. Nothing too personal. Choose your audience wisely.
