Best melt and soap suspension soap
I love this melt and pour soap. It works well with oils and mica powder to create soap products. It truly keeps the flowers evenly throughout during the molding process. It is so moisturizing.

Soap making made easy
This was my first time "soap making", but it sounded like a fun idea to give cute handmade soaps for my co-workers' Christmas gifts. After reading several reviews and instructional websites, I chose this goats milk suspension soap base. The melt and pour idea is fabulous since you can just use the microwave to heat it up. It may be kind of cheating compared to making it from scratch, but you can't beat the effort to results payoff here. Plus, there was something satisfying about the texture as I sliced it up it for heating, too- almost like a very, very firm creamy cheese. The neutral milky scent is also refreshing. Instead of mixing in special dyes and fragrances, I added loose leaf tea, and it turned out great. (Green tea and peach tea smelled nice, but chai was my favorite.). The suspension properties of this soap base ensured I didn't just end up with a layer of tea at the bottom. Instead, it distributed fairly evenly, and the tea became a nice exfoliant throughout. Aside from the scent, people have commented about how much they love the soap, how creamy it lathers, and how clean it rinses. If you are thinking about dipping your toe in and giving soap making a shot, I definitely recommend this.

Helps you in your crafty projects
This soap is wonderful. Those who wish to customize soap - without undergoing the arduous and complex process of making it from scratch - would do well to try this. It's so easy! Once you slice the soap into chunks, you can melt it in the microwave or a double boiler. You can (but do not have to) add all kinds of fun things to jazz it up: fragrances, essential oils, dyes, and even exfoliating ingredients all make awesome additions. The concoction is then poured into a mold (I use silicone molds, as they make it easy to pop the soap out once it is set) and left to firm up overnight. I have given these soaps as gifts to family, friends, and coworkers. They are always impressed at how charming and professional my creations look, but what they don't know is how easy and fun it is to make them. PS This soap lathers really well and leaves skin smooth and soft.

Love this soap base!! Great for beginners!
Very easy to cut and melt and pour.. I got into homemade soap recently and started with easy method: melt and pour. I actually found it in local craft store but they run out of Goat Milk one. I went ahead to order on Amazon. It was amazing! - Easy to get out of the package. Just turn upside down and finger to press down. It popped out quicly and neatly. - Easy to cut into pre-lined cubes. It is very soft and any knife (prefer longer one in kitchen) can cut it easily. - Easy to melt. I use double boiler method. I just used a mixing bowl and settled in hot water on stove. (low heat). It melts evenly. - Easy to set after pouring into molds. After 30 min, the soap was almost totally solid. If your local craft store carries it, you might get a better deal such as 50% or 40% off the price with a coupon.I am very happy with this "Life of the Party Suspension Soap Base".

Once again, amazing soap base
With this soap jade I made 53 bars of soap. I was going to buy individual 2 pound packs but found this and knew I had to get it. I was making 50 bars of soap for adults in homeless shelters for Stockings From Santa, a donation drive run by one of the managers at my work. One came out messed up and two were kept. We had 50 adults to make soap for and managed to make soap for everyone. This large affordable bulk soap made it possible to make 50 peoples’ lives better. I’m very happy that this exists. When it comes time to start selling I’ll be ordering more

Not perfect, but still pretty good
This was my second batch of melt & pour soap (my first being with Life of the Party glycerin soap base). Overall, I liked it much better than the glycerin soap, but I still found myself somewhat disappointed by some of the aspects of the base. Half of the soap base made 5 small bars (see pic). I added dried lavender buds, orange zest, and essential oils to the batch, but no other oils or butters. I figured the goats milk would make it pretty soft on the skin already. The melting process was easy, and I liked it better than glycerin because it wasn't so sticky and messy. The soap didn't congeal around the bowl, and it was easy to stir in the additions and pour it into the mold. The smell wasn't too strong, though still distinctly soapy. The major problems I have with the melt & pour are the ingredients & the texture of the bars. The stuff is loaded with sulfates & propylene glycol--things I try to avoid by making my own soaps. If I wanted all those additives in my soap, I'd just buy it at the store. In addition, the soap bars come out really soft, much softer than I like in a homemade bar. I worry that the soap with melt quickly and be used up in no time. If I had used a more complex mold, I might have destroyed the design by popping it out of the mold, since the bars were so soft. I let them cure overnight but they never hardened up. Even after a couple weeks, the bars I have left are soft. The redeeming quality is the finished bar's soft lather. It feels quite luxurious when washing! It foams up into a soft, smooth lather that I really like in a body soap bar. View the video and see my hand washing test for a better idea of the finished product.

I have no complaints about this soap. It delivers exactly what it promises. It has a great lather and I have been making some soaps and selling them and to this date I have not had one complaint. It mixes well with colors and essential/fragerence oils. In face, I have purchased 6 2 pound containers, and most recently went with the 5 pound, I have never bought the clear version so my colors are more of a pastel but if that is what you are going for I really recommend this. it is so soft. I even had one male customer use it in his hair and beard and said it was the softest it has even been. I have no complaints about this brands goats milk melt and pour base.
