A Tasty Buttercream
Before purchasing this buttercream, I did my research. There were some mixed reviews about this buttercream, i.e., after taste, the separation of the product upon arrival. When I opened my bucket, it wasn't grainy nor had it separated. I found that it needed to be put back in a stand mixer. I put it in my stand mixer for 15 to 20 minutes and it was smooth and ready to use. It's sweet like most buttercreams are, however, I was very surprised by how nice the taste was. I think when purchasing a product of this magnitude we have to recognize that in order to have a long shelf life, preservatives will be added. This is a bulk item so there is a slight taste but nothing to off putting. It mixes up nicely and I was able to add color to the buttercream and decorate my cakes I would with my home made buttercream. When baking, I'm looking for short cuts that will support me with enjoying my baking experience and make my baked goods taste amazing and this product does just that. It does not have a shiny saturn finish after putting in the stand mixer but it does certainly look and taste like buttercream. Just with any item, if it arrives badly separated and it cannot be salvaged, reach out to the manufacturer for a replacement. I do believe an item like this should be stored in a dry less humid place for it's longevity. Thus, the customer has no way of knowing what that looks like prior to shipment. I think this product is worth the purchase I'd you have multiple cakes to ice. For a home baker, which I am, this alot of buttercream. So, if you are not baking .multiple cakes, this is not the product for you. My only complaint, is that they don't sell it in half the size for the home baker. I strongly recommend this product and will purchase it again.

Great for my cottage food business
I use this in my cottage baking business because it is shelf stable. It is also delicious alone. I add a pinch of citric acid and a few tablespoons of meringue powder to lighten it up. You can also add cream cheese flavor or cheesecake flavor to taste like your favorite cream cheese frosting. 5 stars for sure!

Worked for what I needed
As is this product is okay flavor wise and is easy to spread on cakes. I added different extracts to get a better flavor; both almond and vanilla were very good. It is not a true white, but takes color extremely well. I purchased it to save time on making my own icing for my son's wedding cake and iced cookies. The kids loved it and adults were happy; some asked for the recipe. For me the price was a bit high, but it was a convenience issue. I can purchase bright white icing from a local store bakery for less and I can use it as is. They use Brill. Overall, I would buy it again if I had a large amount of cakes to make to save my sanity.

Very surprised the flavor was so good
I am a hobby baker that bakes cakes out of my home as a side gig. I had a bunch of orders so I needed to buy some premade frosting to be able to complete everything and work my full-time job at the same time. I was very hesitant to buy a premade frosting because I’ve heard all kinds of reviews about bad flavors and/or being greasy. In my quest to find something I could/would use, I went to different bakeries and tried different brands of pre made frostings including Brill brand and Satin brand. I can tell you, this one is the closest to my homemade American buttercream in both flavor and mouth-feel! It really does taste like homemade American buttercream. And it doesn’t have a bad aftertaste or feel greasy in your mouth. One thing I really appreciated about the frosting, is that it is so easy to work with. You just put it in your stand mixer with the paddle attachment and stir it for a little bit and it is a smooth finishing consistency. Made my cakes and life so much easier! It takes color pretty well. I did notice I needed a little more color than I would have thought to achieve the color I wanted but not so much that it messes up the flavor. It also has a long shelf-life and stored well down in my finished basement area for almost 2 months. (Yes, I got through a 35lb bucket in less than two months! That’s a lot of cakes in my book!) I’m sure if you store it per directions it would store even longer if needed.

Great cheat for home bakers! Best premade buttercream I've tried!
I'm a home baker. But after a stint in a well known ice cream and cake company, where I built ice cream cakes, we used tubs like this. I got a bug to make cakes at home, ordered some tools, some tips, started, but making that buttercream... tricky to get consistency. This is my dream, I love the consistency of this buttercream. The flavor is more powder sugar than mine, but it holds up to additional flavorings, colorings, and their website had a cheat, if thins too much, add a bit of powder sugar. If too thick, whip well. I will re-review in a while, tell how it holds up over time, how long a tub this size is practical for the small baker, but here's a pic of a lemon buttermilk cake with lemony lemon icing, in process, it spins easy, smooths perfect, tastes amazing plain, or with a few drops of your favorite flavoring. Great product! And 74$, id pay waay more in butter and powdered sugar, ...and time!

Frosting
I usually don’t have anything bad to say about this company, but the last three times that I have bought this icing. I’ve only received one good batch two weeks ago. I bought a batch. It looks like water just like this, and it would not set up in the fridge even when I would frig it. I got a batch two days later because that batch was so bad And that batch was set up correctly. Like should I get a new batch today and it’s like water again, which is gonna make it terrible for me to ice and decorate a cake tomorrow, but hopefully I can make it happen because it’s becoming a waste of money and I usually don’t have a problem with this company because they do Such , great things, but I don’t know how they’re storing. It’s not being stored correctly whoever is storing the frosting.
