Great value and fine product
Great value! The picture quality is excellent, and the size is perfect. While there are fancier options, this one is just right. It was easy to set up, but I won't use the built-in speakers. I have a good set, and bypassing them was easy. It didn't come with an HDMI cord, but I used my old one. The stand doesn't swivel as much as I'd like, but I can get a different one; it has screws for other stands or wall mounts. Good for the money, and I really like it.

Really nice and a really nice price.
I needed a monitor with audio but didn't want to spend a lot and I've used Amazon Basics before for other things, so I thought this was a great deal. At first, I thought, I needed a 32" but the one that I am replacing is 27" so it was a no brainer. I LOVE IT! It has all kinds of settings and has 3 different video inputs and 3 USB inputs, one is the printer type, meant to be a hub. Also an audio in and out which I really like. The hardest part of setting up is the damned box, what is with all the tabs they put on them now!!?? I just tore it open. I had to read the manual only a couple of times as it is set just the way I like it. Most of the hardware assembly is no big deal, you can tell what goes where. Another nice feature is a regular plug, not a power block. You can easily plug into a power strip without taking up 3 outlets. The speaker/s are okay, but not vibrant enough for me. But I have an Altec Lansing speaker which I am using for the sound. Picture is great and it has many options for change if I want. It even has a gaming mode which I don't need but thought I should mention.

Wonderful monitor with USB AND basic built-in speakers
Overall, the image quality and brightness are remarkable. The built-in USB hub keeps me from having to plug in all my peripherals separately. The speakers are good enough for basic listening intelligibility, but not what I would want to use to listen to music. I bought this monitor to replace an aging 20 inch unit. The AmazonBasics monitor with AOC technology is considerably brighter and clearer than my old one. I used AOC monitors exclusively in the past so I expected good image quality and performance. This model did not disappoint. The buit-in speakers work reasonably well for sounds related to system notifications or spoken words. If you want to listen to music you will need an additional speaker. Thankfully there is an audio out and a headset port built into the monitor. My desk setup has the AmazonBasics monitor and another connected via hdmi to an Anker 553 USB-C hub. The AmazonBasics monitor is also connected to the Anker hub via the monitor’s USB B port. This allows me to leave my webcam, keyboard, and mouse plugged into the AmazonBasics monitor for a permanent desk setup. When I am ready to work I simply connect the single USB C cable from the Anker hub to my laptop. This single connection gives me access to everything I need thanks to the monitor’s built-in USB hub. When I purchased it in early 2023 it was $150. It is a great monitor at a great price.

Good Price, Good Picture, Ok Speakers
The monitor arrived quickly and very well packaged. The display bright and crisp, light weight, and is easy to set up. The speakers are what you would expect from the budget price. They are there and they work. When I played ACDC Thunderstruck, it sounded like a kazoo band. Although, if you think about it, the song does have a kazoo quality to it. But, I didn’t buy this to listen to music. I think this is a budget friendly product that works as intended and it fits my need. I’ve deducted one star for speaker quality. Even for a budget item, I think better speakers could have been used.

Great computer monitor!
Great 27 inch computer monitor! I love it! Exactly as described on Amazon and it looks great. It is very lightweight and it has built in speakers I like that! The screen size is perfect for me and it worked right out of the box. No problems at all!

Great monitor for the price
Great monitor, additional USB 3.0 ports are a bonus. I used an Intel stick PC to make it a work station, it had only 2 USB ports. Also liked that the on/off and other buttons are on the front. As mentioned by others, the speakers don’t sound very good, but we don’t listen to media through the monitor.

big bang for the buck!
this is my 2nd amazon basic aoc monitor. i replaced my wifes old monitor on her workstation, and she came in the room and her eyes popped out. this is really a great monitor for the price. super colors, deep blacks, and no smear on motion. we dont play games but videos look great. ez to setup too. like the controls on the front, many are on the bottom or side. needs a remote for control, but not a big deal.
