Ticonderoga Wood-Cased Pencils, Unsharpened, #2 HB Soft, Black, 12 Count

These are beautiful pencils. I would HIGHLY recommend a nice quality sharpener because they work exceptionally well when sharpened with a nice sharpener versus a not-nice sharpener. Work great for fine-point drawing as well as shading by using the side of the pencil. Love these for drawing out the sketch before ink. Erases quite clean, even after numerous pencils lines and attempts at an especially vexing drawing. Great value for the number of pencils you get. They do NOT arrive sharpened so please, grab yourself a nice sharpener as well. You'll be glad you did.

These are great and easy to use. The velcro holds up great, they are soft and not bulky and most importantly, they keep the site protected and the animals cannot lick the wounds. These are also great for puppies or small breed dogs. They are for sure worth the money and very durable. I have three of them, all different sizes.

My wife is a 2nd Grade school teacher, and she has always ordered these pencils- for decades!!! LOL.. Top quality, and easy to sharpen, along with a reliable pencil point that wil not break the moment a student uses it!!! After almost 4 decades of teaching, and almost 8000 students over the years, my wife says that these pencils are dependable, and a great value for the money.. I trust her word on this!!! LOL..

This set is exactly what my student needed - everything in sleek black! The durability of these items is impressive; they can withstand being tossed around in a backpack and pencil pouch without any issues. The lead is strong and reliable, while the eraser works like a charm without leaving any smudges behind. Highly recommend for anyone who loves black stationery!

The black Ticonderoga #2 pencils are the best. I have used them for years. Leads don't break and they sharpen beautifully. Won't use any other pencil.

One pencil was shorter than the rest and completely missing an eraser, otherwise great pencils. My son prefers these over the traditional yellow ones.

Excellent product and wrll delivered

Having seen some poor reviews I was prepared to be disappointed with the black pencils but they are not too bad. I have used the yellow ones for drawing and find them quite good and feel quite nice and the yellow are made from cedar. The black ones, however, are not made from cedar and the finish is not quite as good but for drawing they are still OK. I would not swap a yellow (made in Mexico from cedar) for a black (made in China from ?) But hey use what you have and close your eyes!
