Goodnight, I Love You (Caroline Jayne Church)

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE bedtime book to read to my baby. I'd never heard of it before, but Amazon recommended it to me based on some of my other titles, and it had a ton of great reviews... for good reason! The illustrations are ridiculously adorable and just simple enough to appeal to my little guy (currently 5 months old). The rhyme and meter are great, especially because it uses regular language that makes sense instead of just random words that complete a rhyme (like many, many books do!). I also love that it almost exactly follows my baby's bedtime routine. I definitely see myself reading this to him for a long time to come, and to any little brothers or sisters in the future. LOVE!

Nice book for bdetime

I bought this book along with others to read to my 4 month old. He loves listening to my voice and tracking the images.

nice book and great for a gift

Such a sweet book. My daughter got it when she was one as a gift and it quickly became her favorite. So much so I can still years later tell you the entire story by heart. It is now my go to book for baby gifts.

I bought one for each kid and wrote a note to them in them. They are such cute, easy reads, and so relatable. Lovely images too.

My 15 month son and I love this book! The rhyming is very cute and follows along on our usual bedtime, bath time, brushing teeth, story routine. I like that it showcases both a boy and a girl, as I notice my son looking back and forth at each (maybe a precedence for a future sibling? ;) I also like the structure of this book. The pages are sturdy but not too thick, and the outside covers are sort of padded or cushy. It also seems to be just the right length, not too short or long for a toddler.

I love this book. Read it to all my kids, and now I'm buying it to gift to others. The book binding is great and makes it easy to turn the page and lay flat. It's well made and will last a long time.

Have bought this book for several new Moms .. it’s a very sweet book to read for years.. children love the illustrations as well
