I rarely write reviews but I felt this product deserved one. I took apart my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 and removed the old fan from the heatsink. Replaced the thermal paste (new - Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut) and put the heatsink back on the processor with the new fan. Put back all the parts and the cover. I turned on the computer and I didn't hear the fan working. I turned on the application to check the processor temperature and noticed that the temperature was around 45C. I thought it was the thermal paste that was keeping it so low. I loaded the computer with a bunch of high demand applications and the temp would not go above 70C. I thought - well I guess since the thermal paste is doing such a good job I'm okay. But I spent money on this fan so I decided to open the laptop and return the fan. I opened the laptop case and turned on the computer - the fan was spinning. It was so quiet I thought it wasn't working! Not sure how long it will last but it was well worth the 12 bucks. Keeps the computer cool and is super quiet.
