Great Magnetic Rower! The neutral grips are amazing!
I've been in the market for a rowing machine that has neutral grips, and didn't think there were any options out there, until I stumbled across this! I was hesitant at first because it didn't have a ton of reviews, but I had to try it out! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER HERE!This rower is really simple to put together, as long as you can follow the dummy proof instructions. It doesn't have a very large footprint when being used, and folds decently for storage. I would have liked for it to be a bit more compact when folded up but that's not a big problem for me. It's a little over 60 lbs so moving it around is very easy and it has casters on the front legs to further assist in relocating. The removable handles were the selling point of this unit for me. The free swivel allows numerous hand positions for building different parts of your back, that standard rowers do not offer. The only minor downside I can see with the handles is that they slightly shorten your stroke range of motion because of the added length from the bar. But again, very minor issue compared to the gained versatility these handles provide. Installing/removing takes only a few seconds, so transitioning in the middle of a workout is quite easy.Upon first testing, I felt as though the lvl 8 resistance setting was too soft to be the hardest, but once in the middle of an actual workout, I had to reduce it quite a bit to stay moving. So there is plenty of potential for building up to a more strenuous workout! This unit is also extremely quiet, one of the quietest I've used. They say that water and air rowers give more of an actual "rowing in water" feeling, but they are much louder and I purchased this for the workout aspect, so simulating an actual oar stroke in water wasn't very high on my list. The digital display is pretty basic. There are limited stats that you can scan through. I wish it had strokes per minute, but that's not a very big deal. The available stats are: Time, Calories, Strokes, and an overall Stroke counter that resets at 9,999. What I do love about each stat though, is that you can start at zero and count up, OR you can pre set the stats to countdown to zero as a goal to achieve. For example: If you zero out the display and just start rowing, everything counts up and keeps track. But you can also pre set numbers such as time or strokes (unsure on the calories as I've yet to try it but I assume you can) that then count down as you row, until your set counter hits zero, and then it begins counting up like normal. The display wakes up and keeps track of progress on it's own, you just have to zero out the stats if you want to keep track as it just continues from wherever you left off before.Lastly, it has a generous sized phone/tablet tray for entertainment, which is always nice. Great machine!

excellent
easy to assemble, nice and quiet, great workout. Better tension than the Concept 2 at the gym (they need to be worked on constantly for tension loss). Plenty of length for my 6' frame and longish legs

Great set!
I love my rowing machine. This is the first I have ever used one and I'm very happy with the exercise I am getting. The hardest part of putting it together was getting out of the packaging, which was excellent. Put it together by myself ( female, 70+) and it was easy. I especially liked how the bolts and nuts were on a card marked with each step and the bolt and washer were already on the bolt. Easy to fold up and put out of the way when not in use.I'm using 5 for resistance right now and hope to keep moving up, it's get for your abs and upper arm strength.

Good product bad customer service
Item was scratched up and looked previously put together. Holes on final piece do not line up so folding is not something I can do with it since the safety pin will not go in. Customer service was no help with anything. Seller(foriegn) gave me some nonsense about being shipped directly to Amazon from manufacturer and did not even address my issue of item being scratched up and ignored my question about part not having holes in right place.Item was packed very well, too well actually. Everything taped and hard to get out so I actually had to break the packing material to get it all out. In doing this I now cannot pack back up to return if I even wanted to.Other then the above item is nice. Glides smoothly and easy to use. Putting together was quick except for the last step which I finally gave up on because only 2 of the 3 holes could be ligned up no matter what. Not an issue if you are not planning on folding though. I probably just got the one bad one in the bunch.
