My first experience with dried chives was with another brand and it was, well, dried chives. It was not very flavorful at all. The color was bland and it was like putting a dull spice on my foods, in other words, not worth the bother. I went searching for something better, and saw Litehouse Freeze Dried Chives. I wondered what the difference would be with freeze dried. It was night and day! The color is vibrant green, like real food, and it tasted great! I am putting it on more things than I imagined. The quality is fantastic, and you get quite a bit in a bottle, so I think it is a great value as well. If you're a chive lover, and want the convenience of always having chives on hand, try this product. I think you will be pleased!

Excellent for topping baked potatoes and mixes well into scrambled eggs for extra flavor.

I've wasted so much money on fresh chives. These have saved the day. I used them in sour cream for baked potatoes, in sauces, salad dressing and just about anything else that calls for chives. Good taste and stay fresh. I just discovered 3 empty jars. and recycled them. Not a hoarder, just thought someone might like nice glass spice containers for bulk spice purchases. Yes, they come in glass jars!

When we buy fresh they always go bad. Theses will stay fresh and taste great. We used them for many dishes. Baked potato, eggs, hamburgers, potato salad, macaroni anything green onions would add a nice flavor and garnish
