It does the job but the cable is a bit too stiff

Didn't work at all.

I bought this 3.5mm to XLR male short cable to connect a laptop to a longer XLR cable, which in turn was connected to a powered speaker. I was immediately surprised at the low volume, and the sound quality was distorted and not clear. Looking through my cable drawer, I realised I already had a 3.5mm to XLR male short cable. I tried this in my setup and was rewarded with considerably more volume and a crisp, clear sound from the cable I already owned. As such, I would not recommend this product and plan to return it for a refund.

Bought to replace a similar one that I have but is a little too long so I got this as is perfect length. I set up my stuff on Friday evening to a busy pub and the sound was awful, just treble & no base, so I had to revert back to my old one as quick as possible. I've not sent back as I'd thrown the packaging. What a waste of money that was.

Very poor sound, very quiet sound coming out, bought it as wanted a shorter cabler to the one I have already, my cheaper and longer one provides better sound.

Doesn't work in some ports

Cable passed signal through with lots of noise, also did not seem to pass all frequencies through. Broke after a month of light use.

Worked exactly as I needed and just the right length for my application.
