There was no smell to this petticoat at all. I had seen reviews that there was. It is very well made. Very fluffy and the waist is adjustable. I am a size 6-8 and 5’2” and it fits perfect. Definitely worth the purchase.

Llego de muy buen material, la talla esta super practica porque se ajusta con el listón, huele poquito mal porque supongo que están encerrados, pero lo lave y quedo perfecto! :) Muy recomendado.

La crinolina viene compactada en su entrega, pero al sacarla y estenderla queda muy bonita y no tiene olor desagradable. Muy recomendable para el vestido de boda.

This is exactly what we needed on top of a hoop skirt to make the quinceañera dress more rounded or "poofy". However, there is definitely a smell from being packaged or the material itself. I hung it outside in the sun for a couple of days and then turned it inside out and hung it a couple more days. Smell was still there but very minimal. I did not try to wash it... in hindsight, maybe a good hand wash may have helped too.
