I have these type of bars in my bathroom. So I thought why not put them on my outside steps; and stop all the splinters from the wood! It was so very easy to do. Took all of 15 minutes to put the mounts on and screw them to the 4x4 posts. I did put some rubber silicone under the beauty caps to securely attach them as they were not tight. “No big deal for me”. This will be a huge help for me and anyone who visits coming in and out of my front door. I had no issues securing the bolts to the welded brackets and the bolts tightened up great. The bars feel strong when I pull on them and do not move. Because they are stainless steel they should not rust. They are terrific! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These are perfect to use horizontally or vertically. Make sure they are installed properly and you will feel very safe. The neural handle makes gripping much easier and prevents any hand slipping.

Ok for my intended use as a horizontal grab rail on my outdoor boat dock. However I would not consider it for use inside the house because of the way it mounts. It's cheap and the cover plates do not stay attached to the mount. This would be a problem if mounted in a more vertical position. The top would loosen and slide to the bottom. The mount itself is just thin metal that will flex when you tighten the mounting screws. We will see how the stainless holds up to the elements.
