Used this to make biryani, of course! And it was delicious. Could tell the mix of spices was just right as soon as I opened it and could smell it. This item was exactly as expected and the box was in perfect condition when it arrived. Will definitely order again.

I used it with a ton of other herbs and spices and ingredients along with another brand of garam masala - I used about equal amounts of each brand since the components of each were not the same. ((i used Natraj Whole marwadi Garam Masala also.) I was making chicken tiki masala for the first time for a family birthday party at the request of the guest of honor. The chicken tiki masala was a big success. I combined aspects from about 6-7 recipes.

The taste it imparts to the dish ( I have used it to make more dishes apart from biryani) is very good. But the downside is that it has very tiny tiny pieces of bay leaves, cardamom and other spices that taste horrible when u chew them. I don't have much problem when I am cooking just for me, but if I have to serve it to others then its very time consuming to remove all those tiny pieces of spice. If anyone has found a way to avoid this situation then please comment.

Followed the instructions, but it was too spicy for me. Others might enjoy that, tho.
