PreserVision Bausch + Lomb with Lutein Eye Vitamin & Mineral Supplement, 50 Count Soft Gels

I read several reviews online about how great this product was, so I thought I would give it a try....------I don't think I'm imagining this---but I really do feel like (after only 2 weeks/2x's a day) My vision has improved. I have worn glasses from an early age (8 yrs old)--I'm extreamly nearsighted. I'm going on 26 yrs. old in June---I do believe it is helping my eyesight. ---Wish I would have found these sooner. Thanks Amazon!----A few other supplements I'm taking that work great are:1. GNC Herbal Plus Standardized Saw Palmetto --- (2 a day/moarning & night) -----HELPS with my Adult (hormonal) acne--and my Chronic UTI symptoms muchhhh MUCH BETTER THAN azo !!!! (con: taking 2 at a time---puke-y feeling! YUCK--split dose up 2 times a day like 20 min. after a meal) no more nausea splitting the dose to twice a day--and NO MORE big ZITS on my chin/cheeks/skin under my nose--THANK GOD for that!2. BioSil drops -- WOWWWWWW!!! I will be making a review on this soon, It seems to be working for my hair. -(I don't know if it makes it longer-which is why I purchased the product-but I have noticed my hair seems MUCH more healthy--btw my hair is FRIED!!!!!!!) BUT now it is sooo SOFT! as soft as soft could be-yet still gets volume altough it's fine hair-and I'm having more 'GREAT' hair days! (only been taking for 2 weeks) Two times a day --my dose is: moarning and night-->I am taking the drops in 'V8-fusion with tea'--really takes a lot of the HORRIDLY bitter flavor out! (I fill a disposable 'bathroom' cup 1/3 full with the V8, squeeze 5 drops in-and chug it fast!) The drops seem to 'settle' at the bottom---so drink it quick! I usually fill the cup with a little water and chug it afterwards-just to make sure it all went down. ---they say this works on skin, hair, nail improvement/growth -- oh, and my skin looks nicer too (could be from the saw palmetto as well) :o)----ANOTHER thing I remembered --my hair is falling out less in the shower when I use conditioner --it started falling out a year or so ago (I comb my hair with the conditioner in it because it is long, then rinse) Before, I would have LOTS of hairs filling that comb--now only a few---(I think this Biosil is the 'supplement' responsible for keeping me from being even more 'bald'--I'm taking just the supplements listed in this/these reviews)-----3. Doctor's Best - High Absorbtion 100% chelated Magnesium --- I actually got this to feel less anxious---I have to say, I seem to be less nervous than usuall (If it's only in my mind, so be it!) It says on the bottle it's good for the heart, nervous system, and cellular energy----SO I'm sure It can't hurt you! And most of us probably don't get enough Magnesium anyway. Dose: I take one in moarning; one at night before bed

I ordered two boxes of these, and one was fine, but the other one was 80 percent unusable because the capsules had melted into a single glob, and could not be removed from the bottle. This has happened before, with some vitamin d capsules I got from Amazon. Someone is storing or shipping these capsules in very hot conditions, and they are arriving melted and unusable. They are not returnable or refundable, according to Amazon. So these capsules are in fact, twice as expensive as their advertised price, if you have to order them again and hope for the best.

I started using these vitamins -- with Lutein -- several years ago, at the suggestion of my eye doctor. At the time, he warned me that my cataracts would require surgery a few years down the road but said the Preservision might stave off the time for awhile. Since then, the cataracts are about the same size as they were when I started the daily dose of vitamins. No one has said I'm out of the woods on this, but I feel they have given me some more time before a surgery is again mentioned. Often we wonder whether supplements do any good, but, in this case, I believe they live up to the expectations people have for them.

They do what they say. They help improve vision by providing the body/eye with the missing but need vitamins and minerals. I couldn't see on the doctors eye chart out of one eye and barely out of the other eye. Once I started taking this product my vision has improved twice as I was tested using the doctors standard eye chart. I can see out of both eyes now on the doctors chart. I'm sure with continued use, my eye sight will continue to improve.

I recently had two reactions to some generic prescription medicine and had to have visiting nurses check on me daily for two weeks. the first nurse looked at all my meds and supplements. she had me throw away all my supplements except garlic and these. guess they must be pretty good and trusted. med people I've talked to all seem to know about these and approve.

I am hopeful that this product helps my husbands macular degeneration. His optomologist has recomended it for him. She told him that what they were hoping for is to preserve what vision he has. Actually he has been taking it for about a month now and we believe that his vision has improved somewhat.

If you suffer from dry eyes then I highly reccommend these vitamins and minerals. I use to have a problem with severe dry eyes that would burn and itch a lot. Since using this product I have seen a noticable difference.
