38-4-48HS: Mace Holdertop Flap, STX Basket Weave, Black

Absolutely love this product! Although it is designed to hold Def-Tec MK-III canisters, it fits my 2 oz Fox Labs canister VERY nicely! I use this for civilian EDC, and it conceals very well under a regular T-shirt, or just on the belt. Since it is about the size of an average cell phone or flashlight, it can be worn inconspicuously in plain view. Aside from the canister fit, the snap on this particular holder is very well designed and easy to operate. It is easy to open, and easy to close. The hard, molded case ensures your canister won't be damaged during daily use, and the leather belt attachment provides a secure point of attachment. The material itself is extremely durable, and is as solid as I've seen as far as holders go. If you're looking for a great holster for your MK-III Defense Tech or Fox 2.0 oz canister, definitely take the time to check this one out. The package arrived in great condition, and very quickly considering I placed the order over the weekend. I will buy from this seller again, for certain.

Matches my bianchi basketweave gunbelt. Nicely fits my 1.8 oz sabre pepperspray. Has a quality feel to it and the snap button is way better than velcro which wears out over time. Had it for 2 years out on patrol and theres no sign of tearing, wear or flaking. I would recommend.

So the quality is great from what I can tell but the size is off. My Foxx 1.5 oz (MK3 size) fits okay in the bottom but the flap is huge. Alternatively when i try my inferno PS4 which is 2.5 oz and 5 inches long it's too big to fit. I actually forced the flap closed on the inferno and technically it fits but the snap only stays halfway and it's very tight actually stretched to close and will likely pop open very easily unless this material will stretch. Should be perfect for anything in between though like a 2oz can. Personally for civilian edc it's not great for me. It rides high and the flap is too big making it catch on everything and pop open. If you have a flat stomach you may have more options for belt position but I couldn't get it right on either side hip. I tried 1-4 o'clock and 9-10 o'clock and it rubs my man curves

Excellent Safariland quality not a single issue with them

I am a patrol officer and was in search of a good holster. I was able to fit my Sabre red pepper gel without any problems. Feels great, looks great, and the snap button feels awesome. If you have a problem with this I recommend you take care of your items. I see people complaining about torn holsters and snapped off buttons.

I give three stars only because I have to constantly make sure the flap is secured. Has a tendency to come undone. not from the belt, but the button on the flap. I think this is a better holster for pepper spray. I just wish it was a bit more secure. As with all Safariland, its a bit pricey, but its attractive and durable on the belt and still functional, just be mindful of the flap. I honestly feel like its the better choice on the market I just don't think it warrants 5 stars.

I bought one of these cases in January of 2020 for use with my class A uniform. I most often wear class B, so rarely had worn this case, much less used it. In September 2020, as I’m putting it on, low and behold, the snap breaks. I’ve rarely had any issue with Safariland products, but this is beyond frustrating, but I chalk it up and order a new one. Which arrives in October 2020. Once again, I put it on my class A duty right and rarely wear it. Two weeks ago, while getting dressed for a friend’s funeral (LODD) the case breaks. It had probably been worn a total of 10 times and never opened except to do periodic inspections of my spray canister. Guess I’ll be finding a different brand as clearly this style isn’t made to hold up.
