Water Hyacinth Braided Natural Placemat, 15", Whitewash

I ordered a set of six of these placemats and they arrived yesterday. They are just lovely! One review said there was dust and particles from the mats and mine had none and I shooked them and tapped them to make sure. They are MUCH prettier in person. Nice in size and beautifully made. Pier 1 had similar braided ones for much more money and dont' hold a candle to these. Just beautiful. I'm was pleasantly surprised.

I was looking for something to finish off the look in the center of my dining table and this worked perfectly. For what it is, it sits pretty flat and I don't have any issues with anything not sitting straight on it, which was one of my concerns when ordering. I do feel the cost was high for just one placemat but I got it anyway because it was the look I was going for. Good quality. Hopefully it lasts over time.

I used this to add texture to cover a round side table. It’s well made and a bit oversized and that was what I wanted. However I did feel that it was a bit over priced.

Great placemats that look nice and are made of high quality materials. The only downside is that for the first month or two they will leave dust from the fibers in the placemats all over your tables and floors.

These placemats are perfect and exactly what I was looking for!They’re heavy and not flimsy cheap made.

I bought this nearly two years ago and it was a set of four for $7.99 (proof in my recorded purchases). Can someone please tell me why that when I go back to try and order a new set, it's now FIFTEEN DOLLARS for only ONE PLACEMAT?? You do know this is more expensive than the likes of quality stores such as Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel right? I gave it a 3 star rating because these are great placemats and the whitewash color is so so pretty but I'm not paying that much for a placemat. Doesnt make any sense.

This is one of those things where you get what you pay for. This is a thick, heavy duty piece. I use it to add a layer of interest on my round glass coffee table, sort of like a tray. I love the neutral color.
