Been using these for several months now. My horses are pretty rough on their hay nets... They pull the entire netted hay bale out of the feed tub and drag it all over their paddock. Despite my rowdy horses, these nets are still in great shape! The nice soft netting makes it easy to fill, and I think that's why it's more durable than the stiffer rope nets you can get. They are also 1/3 the price of the full bale sized nets that my local feed stores sell. I recommend these nets to all my horse owning friends and if mine ever wear out or need replacing, I would definitely buy this brand again.

Besonders gefällt mir die Beschaffenheit dieses Netzes. Es besteht nicht, so wie die meisten anderen Netze, aus Plastik, sondern ist schön weich. Unsere Pferde nehmen es gut an. Absolute Empfehlung!

Good sturdy quality, fits a hay bale and the mesh size is perfect.

These bales have outlasted three other similar styles in 1.5” size, both the nets were continually grazed out of for a solid year by six different horses. They easily slip over a solid 50-70 pound bale and the review saying it would fit a 110 lb bale is probably right. They’re easy to maneuver even with thick gloves on due to their size, and the soft netting has not sprung a single hole. The other brands have needed to be repaired at least three times each. I will caution that the rope I was sent was not appropriately sized for the net, it was much too short. But with a bit of poly role you could customize different colors for different hay types or horses to make convenient setups . My one inch nets did have more excessive wear, but that was due to me using it on the wrong kind of hay (very soft and fine stemmed) with horses who weren’t used to them. I would recommend feeding loose or larger hole netted hay alongside the tiny hole nets for a week or two while they adjust - it’ll save you in the long term. I’ve switched to the small nets overnight to feed alfalfa and the 1.5” hole nets for regular hay.
