TACVASEN Fishing Shirt for Men, Long Sleeve Shirt Quick Dry Fit, Tactical Shirt Button Up, Work Shirt Lightweight Safari

I was early to the game when it came to this style and functionality of a shirt with my purchase of multiple Exofficio shirts in the early 2000’s some of which lasted for 25 years. Having sad that I have pretty much every other brand since. Because of the price I was not expecting much from these shirts- bought 3, gray, Beige, and dark green- to wear here on the mountain in the hot Georgia summer hiking, weed eating, doing rock landscaping, splitting and hauling wood, chainsawing, canoeing, etc. They arrived and immediately they appeared better quality than I expected. After trying them on they were very light weight, more so than the Wolverine brand I bought at Tractor Supply, and comfortable. They washed well and didn’t shrink. Time will tell how they hold up with my uses . The sleeves when rolled up are a bit tight so for a looser fit I recommend you size up. I’m 6’1 238 and the XL fit fine otherwise. I’m probably going to buy a XXL for canoeing however to have a bit more room paddling on the river.

I like the shirt with two exceptions, neither a deal killer: 1. The pockets are not deep enough to protect my Samsung 23 cell phone. My Blackhawk shirts are fine and the standard against what I compare. 2. The 2XL size is a bit skimpy in the torso and the placket gaps open. I have been wearing 2XL shirts, sometimes larger, and this shirt doesn't quite fit. The sleeves are generous as is the collar and I would worry about moving to the 3XL with proportionately larger sleeves and neck. I like the capacious zipper pockets and the idea of being able to bunch the long sleeves into short. Overall a nice design but front pocket depth is lacking for cell phones, note pads, and just deep enough for pen and pocket screwdrivers.

Overall, I really like the design of this shirt and the material. It's light weight but the material feels substantial. The vented back is nicely done. I have similar 'fishing shirts' that the material feels very light and almost flimsy and the venting is overly large. The pockets are solid and the zippers seem to work well. Time will tell how well it holds up. The fit is good other than, as others have mentioned, the sleeves are too short.. like by about 1-2". I generally roll my sleeves up, and this has the buttons on the sleeve to hold the rolls in place. But for anyone looking for full protection from the sun and wants the sleeves down, you might gain some length by going up a size.

Love this nylon shirt! I bought black in the Large size. Excellent quality and the sizing is consistent with any ordinary shirt. Living in the desert I use It as a super lightweight shirt jacket. Looks great 😎

The material is an all around perfect, size is good fit, a great all occasion shirt. The color choices leave a lot to be desired is the only thing that keeps me from buying more than two. Add a blue/grey color and you’ll increase your sales profoundly. I only wish they were designed with snaps instead of buttons. The zippers are terrific. I even slept really well in this shirt.

Ordered these for my husband for work shirts; he works outside and also does handy-man and remodel work. I also ordered the brand Magcomsen in what looked to be a virtually identical shirt. Both are 100% nylon, both in size medium. BUT this Tacvasen shirt is a heavier fabric and somewhat harsh feeling against the skin, a bit like what you would think tarp material would be made of. And the shoulder area was much tighter on the Tacvasen which does not work at all for what my husband will be doing. The Magcomsen shirts were far lighter weight, had a very soft feel, and had more room in the shoulders. So we are returning the Tacvasen and keeping the Magcomsen shirts.

I use this for travel - enough easy access secure pockets for passport/ID, reading glasses, and all the other stuff you may want to keep handy in the airport or on the plane. Recommended.

Shirt fit well and appears to be well made. I like the zippered pockets.

I recommend. I wear a khaki and a royal blue one. Sturdy, breathable, well made. I'm taking off a star because I ordered gray ones twice, and each time the sleeves were shorter than the other colors, too short for my long arms. So there's a risk of inconsistency.

Ordered an XL but was way too big ALL around. Took it back with no problem. Reordered a large and fits perfectly even around mid-section, size chart was right on in sizing. Well put together, double stitched with basted ends. It is nylon so will melt from a spark around a campfire. But purchased for a safari - perfect colour and light weight.

I purchase these for my Scouts. They are strong durable and even with their aggressive playing haven't had any damaged or ripped. The material is thick enough for the badges to me sewn on and breathable to you don't overheat.
